Nov 11th 2011 9:55PM I'd really love to see Shockadin become viable. Maybe with this four specs thing that the druids are getting, they'll shake out an extra Paladin spec to help use up all that dratted spell plate?
Nov 11th 2011 9:39PM I actually had to make a wild guess about what the gold spread on my non-main toons looked like, to get a sense of how much gold I had overall on my main server. I think I forgot to account for some moderate slush funds stashed around on high-level alts when I filled that out.
I'm sure not everyone tallied up all their gold exactly, and the level 30 paladin that you sent some large pile of gold to when you sent them their heirlooms might have been forgotten.
Nov 10th 2011 11:28PM Actually, that's a good way to skip the BC or Wrath levels if you're really sick of them by now. I sort of miss BC by now, but I did Wrath so many times.
Nov 10th 2011 4:48PM I remember a trick about following the fallen tree in the river. Sometimes it helps me find it, about as often it doesn't do a thing.
Nov 10th 2011 4:45PM She and Tyrande can console each other.
Nov 9th 2011 8:48PM However, there has been the odd thing where Blizzard's policy has been, "If you can game the system, go for it." I know that applied to the required ilvls for Heroics at the start of Cata- there was some blue post that basically said, "If you can get over the cap in a way that's not exactly based on the gear you're wearing, you understand what's going on, and we can't really stop you, so go ahead."
I was pretty glad of that at the time, actually- I was just slightly less geared than my new guild, they wanted to test me out, and someone lent me a BOE trinket that pushed my gear over the edge. I held onto it until I had enough gear to be doing the things properly, and then gave it back.
I sometimes think that 'think smarter, not harder' applies, and that if someone is smart enough to beat the system, they deserve to get away with it every once in a while. Of course, Blizzard should also be playing catch-up and making it difficult for would-be rulebreakers.
Nov 9th 2011 6:43PM I got my invite! But I haven't put windows on my desktop yet, and I am leaving to travel for two weeks on Sunday, anyway. So it's pretty useless for me.
Nov 9th 2011 3:20AM @ElfLove I would cry. As a straight female, I intend to have at least half male characters in TOR, and most of those will want either gay or bisexual love interests. I intend to objectify digital gentlemen as much as teenage boys objectify digital ladies. I at least want equal-opportunity objectification.
Except with my future bounty hunter, who wants only the company of his little Jawa friend. (And not like that!)
Nov 8th 2011 7:16PM I just haven't found a community that I like as much as WoWInsider for TOR yet! There's also not as much news for it every day. I'll probably stop lurking so much when I actually have a game to go play. But I'm going to miss it once that happens.
Nov 8th 2011 6:45PM No, I hardly think 1 million subscribers/gold farmers combined left over the Guardian Cub. That's been out, what, two weeks?
