Jun 16th 2009 7:31PM The comments made about this video explain why people who play WoW will always be mocked in the popular media and society.
Calling anything "corny" while comparing it to a fantasy video game makes you sound like a complete tool.
Aug 29th 2008 7:09PM It's almost like people might use their internet connections for things other than WoW! Imagine that.
Congrats on completely missing the point.
Aug 28th 2008 6:03PM EVE had potential, but you can't pack thousands of neckbeards from the SomethingAwful forums into an MMO and expect it to succeed. Goons will destroy everything they touch (with cheeto fingers).
Aug 27th 2008 12:35AM You're VASTLY vastly vastly overestimating the interest in going to Blizzcon. The complete failure of Blizzard's IT team to created a web server that can handle even minimal load should not be mistaken for high interest in the event.
Aug 11th 2008 3:25PM It's odd that you think this is the first time something like this has happened. Blizzard has had chronic IT failures for as long as WoW has existed. They're just not up to the task of deploying high-demand database-driven web apps. It shows a failure of management.
I know the people on wowinsider generally think that everything Blizzard does is perfect, but this is getting out of hand.
Aug 11th 2008 3:10PM Supplying them with a character name is optional.
Aug 11th 2008 3:02PM Attributing this to anything other than Blizzard's IT incompetence borders on sycophancy at this point.
Aug 11th 2008 11:12AM Some blackhat jerk on irc just said that someone got it and harvested the first few hundred credit card numbers that were put in. How's that for a rumor?
