Feb 12th 2009 12:34AM This article is incredibly biased and sensationalised, mainly biased. I'd like to see your experience playing a Death Knight and/or some comments from the W.I. Death Knight to justify some of the arguments you made. I play a Balance Druid and, while I do think they need some adjusting they CAN and WILL die in PvP.

it seems a lot of people are asking the same questions:

1. If you are attacked by a zombie or you stand too long in one of the green clouds called Retch clouds you catch a disease called "You're Infected". It lasts 10 minutes and you turn into a zombie if you die with the debuff or if the 10min timer runs out.

2. You lose durability when you are a zombie and you die

3. You have zombie abilities like "Mangle!" "Retch! and a few others making a total of 5 abilities.

4. You cannot use ANYTHING other than the zombie abilities (ie. no Bandages, pots, spells, mounts etc.)

5. Argent Healers cast a spell at you. If you receive 3 charges of this spell you die instantly and become a non-undead (living? =P) ghost.

6. The disease is easily curable by any class that can cure diseases Priests, paladins and Shamans (not sure about the shaman part).

7. You speak Zombie when you are a zombie.. Other players read your messages as "braiiins" and "..... ... ......". I think guild chat and /whisper are the exceptions to this rule

8. Please don't kill the zombies as it is extremely entertaining to be zombie.

Moonkins aiming to get DPS and group utility {WoW}

Mostly true

Not true at all, I've played up to mid Tier 5 content and I've never farmed Demonic Runs and barely ever run out of mana during boss fights.



"- utility: moonkin aura is ok at best, everyone would prefer mage food to a small plus in crit."


I think if it was a pick between +5% crit and water most people would pick the moonkin, but simply because mages do more DPS than moonkins would they bring the Mage along.
You forgot to mention rez, Innervate, Off-heals as well as the aura.

This has happened to me countless times as well unfortunately.

Don't base anything on what people say in the beta, hardly anyone has done level 80 raiding content yet not to mention they probably haven't finished balance all of the classes

With Leatherworking you can use Drums of Battle, War and Restoration to increase mana longevity or yours and your group's DPS, but I do agree with the Windhawk set comment. Blizzard has apparently been balance professions in the Beta as well though so don't worry.

Would like to reiterate other posters and say this:

Druids CAN do Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, Healing AND tanking.

Druids CANNOT do RDPS, MDPS, Healing AND Tanking with the same spec... competitively. It is NOT possible.

Moonkins and Feral Cats are horribly sub-par at what they do in raids and Feral Bears aren't so great either.

We are not asking to be better or the same as mages, warlocks or rogues but we want to be a valid choice for raids, not just for our utilities but for our personal skills and knowledge of the class we play.
