Jan 10th 2011 9:47PM Maybe I'll be proven wrong but that blue post sounds more like a cover up for their own bad design.... reminds of the time way back when they basically said that Eviscerate scaled because it did static damage (didn't benefit from any stat or weapons).... no really, they actually said that.
In all my years of playing I have come to the conclusion that players will take the path of least resistance. If they feel they don't have a good chance of being rewarded for their efforts or that the effort isn't worth the reward they simply won't show up.
They don't want to show up to a fight that they will more than likely spend 30min to lose, when they could do a BG or two and have a much greater chance winning. If they make the reward for winning offense an extreme amount then no one will show up for defense as they probably already ran the raid when they won on offense and why bother when in 2 hours they can do offense for a much greater reward.
Apr 22nd 2010 12:01AM My thoughts when I saw this "Oh pretty artwork there. Who is the one writting thi... dammit."
Feb 22nd 2010 9:19PM I wonder what would happen if they made it so every racial was in the form of a trinket? How many people would trade a damage trinket for a Warstomp, Arcane Torrent, or an EA trinket? They would also have resil on them just like EMfH trinket.
Jun 21st 2009 11:54AM I like to call Midsummer the "Gold Festival".
Apr 1st 2009 4:35AM My guess is when they named her they simply forgot ormu is usually for males. Like when they forgot who corrupted who with the whole Sargeras/Eredar deal.
Patch notes say: Characters on the "A Strange Historian" quest are now correctly prompted to find Chromie in the northwest corner of Andorhal, where she and the ruined inn have been moved to.
Nov 18th 2008 6:15PM The way I see it is this, if you were stuck at lvl 40 for a while and did every instance and got decked out with the best gear you could get for your level. Would you really be replacing that gear a few level later?
On the WoW forums someone said that if they made it so top end 70 gear was out of date by 72 greens then the gear at 80 would be so strong that players could do things like solo Illidan.
Aug 12th 2008 3:27PM I really hope I'm not forced to side with DEHTA. Especially on my warlock. Why should a warlock care about people hunting animals?
Also DEHTA would also be against the entire Tauren culture as it is centered around hunting (Taurens have even tried to hunt Malorne).
