Jun 3rd 2009 10:31AM First I would like to see player housing, just because I have a lot of cool stuff in my bank that I would like to see mounted around my house. It would have to be zoned like Everquest though and not real estate like old UO, it would also have to have some method to port me to a major city of my choice and I would either be given the option to purchase an additional hearthstone ability or purchase the house and given the hearthstone ability to get back to my house. You want to really impress me give me a city with nothing but player housing and player run stores with NPC vendors carrying player made merchandise.
Second add several new professions which WoW needs badly, I have a lot of ideas for this. I would also allow players to have the ability to learn every profession without losing any one and no skill loss or at any cost to the other profession skills. What is the harm? Not everyone would do it and it would not affect the world markets because people hardly buy profession items at the AH anymore anyway, I am sure this is server specific but I make more money selling profession mats than I do crafted items which is why your farm alts have nothing but gathering professions plus you get better stuff questing not to mention raid drops. Plus talk about an achievement; max every profession.
The third addition I would like to see would be the runestones from old UO. Where a mage, or better yet instead of a mage make it a new profession, can buy a piece of parchment and/or a book of parchment that will allow them to go anywhere in any region and scribe that parchment with those coords. Then they can sell that parchment and/or book. The inscription on the page would give the region and the coordinates. You buy it click on it and it opens a portal you and your party can use. It could have a 30 minute cooldown if you like.
The fourth edition and by far the most important addition I would like to see added to the game is a progressive random number generator. As an example Baron Rivendare's mount which has a 1:100 drop rate, it already keeps track of how many times I kill Baron Rivendare, so the first kill I have a 1:100 shot of getting it, the second kill I get a 2:100 shot of getting it and so on until I am at 50 kills and I get a 50:100 shot of getting it, make it BoP I don't care I am not farming to sell it I want it, and keep the percentages going up until it drops for me. If it drops again I can still loot it but it does nothing for me. Oh and it only drops for me, they already do that with recipes, so I cannot run someone else through and they griff off of my drop rate. I don't like luck elements in the game so what if billyjobob got that turtle mount by randomly fishing up a daily yeah thats an accomplishment, and accomplishment is something you earn not something that falls in your lap. You want my respect then show me that you grinded for that mount or you killed all the ally leaders etc. Not that har har I got this on the first drop and you have been fishing 4 hours a day for two months and still don't have it. That is IMHO is just BS.
I have to toss in one more because I just thought of it, solve the healer problem, make First Aid actually do something. I mean seriously so I can make 500 frostweave bandages, they are worthless in combat and out-of-combat I have used maybe 50 in the almost 5 years I have been playing. Bring the Sisters-of-Elune into the healing sphere and have them teach an AOE heal and a few other healing spells plus let the First Aid profession learn how to make healing and mana pots and cure diseases and all other afflictions, take remove curse and other abilities away from the other classes. Make it where they can raid heal as far as the cost...it would have to be resource costs maybe a new mana mechanic you get a heal bar instead of a mana bar for healing..that would need some work. We cannot have a pally running through battlegrounds healing themselves and never dying and just iritating everyone on the battlefield now can we..oh wait that is already in there. So there would have to be a cost mechanic.
Anyway I passed 2 cents and gave you a dollars worth.
May 21st 2009 9:41AM I do not mind the weekly quests, albeit that is a little contrived, weeklies? In any case I do wish they had given us a choice of marks, there is nothing left for me at least to spend Stonekeeper Shard's or honor on, but I still love the battleground enough to play it several times a day.

Yes I am an enchanter and yes I DE'd them all and yes it took me a lot longer to buy my ice flying skill because I couldn't sell all that trash.
Mar 7th 2009 12:32PM Please keep in mind that not everyone is in a guild. I wouldn't join one if you paid me and have never been in one. They have no value and in my opinion ruin the game. Now having said that I don't tell anyone I DE anymore I roll for what I get and DE after I leave the group. I don't think anyone has a right to shards I produce.
As a prime example I ran a PuG that had four of the same guild in it, they decided they had a de and I went along with it, at the end there was no roll, they said they were keeping them for their guild so sorry. Ran another instance they brought there own DE and I went along again turned out the enchanter did not have skill high enough to DE blues so he kept them all.
I roll greed regardless of what the groups sets out with now, I have been ninjaed too many times on rolls and shards to care anymore.
Feb 21st 2009 2:54PM With the exception that if no enchanters are DE'ing for you then you have to buy your mats off the AH, you get more high-level enchanters. I know everytime I need a new rod I don't roll for mats from the miner because I need the ore to give to a blacksmith to get the rod, I have to buy it off the AH. We just want the same consideration.
