Nov 19th 2009 5:44PM Herald Volazj is going to make King Dred chew his own leg off! Go Volazj!
Nov 11th 2009 9:52PM Haha, that picture is of my character.
Oct 15th 2009 4:57PM Jack, it certainly is more of a problem for DBM now, but your comment misses some key issues at the heart of it. Now Blizzard has created a problem, that people must develop, or modify, addons to fix.
Previously the only issue was that you couldn't mark unless you were an assistant. If you gave someone assistant, you had to also give them other powers (like invite). So instead of addressing the whole core issue, namely that you can not give people marking powers without giving them additional unintended powers, they just flipped the problem 180 degrees. You now have everyone being able to mark, and [currently] no way to take that away. That's like fixing a house fire by burning down the forest around it.
Oct 15th 2009 1:36PM It probably would have been better for players if they treated it like "voice", with voice chat. By default everyone has the ability to mark, but can be "muted" by a leader.
Oct 15th 2009 1:12PM The biggest issue that I have seen in the past with too many people being able to raid mark, besides the obvious intentional mischief, is that people running various addons (like Deadly Boss Mods) will automatically mark targets a certain way and it may not be the way you want (like marking people with a skull if they have Mutating Injection). It will be much harder to manage 25 people's addons, instead of mananging one set of Raid Assistant promotions.

Sep 3rd 2009 10:04PM Honestly, WoW may be the single greatest threat to Mac's security. Previously, nobody that wrote malware gave a crap about Mac, because of the small and unprofitable population of Mac users. Now however, you have a million Mac users with a poorly defended system, and an attitude ripe for exploitation, that they can make just as much money off of by stealing WoW accounts.
Aug 27th 2009 6:01PM To each his own, I guess. I actually like the look of the the Paladin T8, including the "face shield". The only part that I didn't like, and so I didn't add to the costume, was the small plate "scales" on the forehead.
Overall, I think my costume did well, considering there isn't anything particularly novel, clever, gimmicky, or elaborate about a paladin. Just some good old plate armor. :-)
Aug 11th 2009 5:38PM Do you realize how deadly this would make a holy paladin? Right now the trade-off is that they are weak on defense and offense, but can heal lots. Flash forward to this "holy paladin talented to use DPS plate" and you will have a healadin with 30k HP, 2000 AP, AND healing like crazy. That's pure win, which is exactly why it can't happen. The only thing preventing them from being OP now is that they don't get those other stats, so their only strength is healing.
