Jan 3rd 2012 7:36PM For the person with the mobile authenticator issue- that's definitely unusual, but there's a way to safeguard yourself in case that happens again-
Open your current authenticator. Open the Menu, and select "Setup." Click Continue, and on the next screen- write everything down! This page will give you the serial number for your mobile authenticator and a restore code; the seed necessary to re-create your unique authenticator on any phone.
If your authenticator ever breaks again, open the app, open the menu, go to Restore, select the option to restore, and enter the serial and the code- there you go, your old authenticator is back in action, no need for the three hour tour of Blizz support (I had a very similar incident, including the overnight removal and hack.)
