Mar 7th 2011 2:53PM Oh, Joakim, if ONLY the worgen would vivisect you! They look less scary than most Hunter pets! "Here, Fido, fetch my Slippers of Deep Comfort, there's a good worgen!" Maim? Bite? Surely you're Joakim!
I'm glad to see that i'm not the only one who landed with a thud in Darnassus and thought, "That was it???" Maybe a handful of Worgenb quests were atmospheric, but mostly it was the same old stuff. And I was really surprised at how lousy the quest progression turned out to be, not to mentiuon that being a Worgen wasn't any more different than being a Human in Duskwood! It was as if Blizzard got most of the trappings right (most, not all), but failed to go any deeper. So, yes, what a wasted opportunity! I do hope they re-vamp the whole Worgen area and the worgens, but the damage has still been done.
I also much prefer the Goblin race and areas, but I must say that both starting areas felt slow to me, in a way that the draenei and BElf areas never did. And it is a real shame that those areas can't be revisited...I'm rather shocked someone was allowed to make that call.
Aug 18th 2008 4:56PM OK, I don't care, I'll be King N00b for a day:
is there any starting or mid-level content appearing in Wrath, or is it almost all 70+? I'm a casual player and an alt-a-holic, so I don't have a 70 yet. Is Blizzard planning to add any new dungeons, raids, quest hubs to the old world at all, or is it silly to buy Wrath if you don't have a 70 already?
