Jun 3rd 2009 8:38AM Forgot to mention Sea Warfare. Battling other players or npcs on boats has been sadly nonexistent in this game despite how much of it there was in the strategy games.
I would also like to see in-depth class specific quests/storylines to flesh out the lore for each class. There would have to be repeatable quests to keep it going as well. As a rogue, I would love to be able to work for Ravenholdt Manor on a regular basis.
Jun 3rd 2009 8:11AM Cosmetic gear sounds very interesting, I think I would like that. Not necessarily a new feature but more diverse combat animations would be good. My rogue does the same 1 or 2 animations for every ability. It would be cool if we could choose our combat animations for some nice customization.
Mar 21st 2009 1:17PM Meh. I just wish HaT was more solo/5-man friendly. That way, when our guild isn't raiding, I don't have to change specs (yes I know Heroics are easy).
Nov 2nd 2008 11:43PM The Twisting Nether dimension is separate, but intertwined with the material plane. It is chaotic and the birthplace of demons. So you can say it's evil in the sense that it is chaotic and corrupting. Check out http://www.wowwiki.com/Twisting_Nether for a good description.
Aug 19th 2008 5:50AM I always associated the ying yang power of priests(light and shadow) with that of the Naaru. When the Naaru "die" they become like Shadow (entropius) and basically become like a black hole sucking the light back in to become whole again. They seem to have a relationship with the void walkers. According to wowwiki, void walkers have to constantly absorb the energies around them to sustain themselves. This sort of goes along with Shadow priests in shadowform using vampiric embrace and touch to redistribute the lifeforce of their enemies. Of course, shadow priests don't have to suck the life force out of anyone to live but they do call their abilities "vampiric" for a reason. They seem to be able to control it. In fact, the teachings of the Cult of the Forgotten Shadow warn, in so many words, that you must not get in over your heads with your power lest you destroy yourself. I found it to be an interesting parallel.
