Aug 12th 2009 10:40AM Probably right. Thinking along those lines, good places for phasing would be the starting areas so every newbie can experience something like the DK starting experience.
Jun 10th 2009 6:12PM Not a fan of underwater melee or swimming in general. I'd dig the lore, but I wouldn't be excited for any new parts of the game that involved going underwater.

And Enchanter-made wands. Get one at lvl 5 and enjoy being OP until at least lvl 10. Lucky you, though, there's another Enchanter-made wand at 13. Easy breezy.
Sep 14th 2008 1:26PM I wouldn't call them stolen items. People are paying for the transfers. Bottom line, everyone has the same opportunity to go after those "stolen" items. No need to badger the ones taking advantage of it.
Sep 12th 2008 3:53PM They will just change your enh tree to another resto tree. :(
Sep 12th 2008 3:48PM Sounds like a combination of Barrens chat and Trade chat to me. Nothing new here.
Sep 12th 2008 1:11PM I agree that it was something you wanted to think about before deciding PVE or PVP. But there was a time you had to consider that you'd never have a mount if you wanted to be a Tauren. There was a time when we had to consider alliance or horde based on if we wanted to play a paladin or a shaman. Sometimes, things can change that were very much a part of WoW for us old-timers. Usually, they are okay in the end.
Sep 12th 2008 1:03PM Even if there was the dreaded, "Understand, once you do this, you can never go back ..." type of thing, this would still be pretty freaking cool.
Sep 12th 2008 12:57PM Most people that seem to be upset by the PVE-to-PVP decision are the same ones that use "I play on a PVP server" as an e-peen. The PVP server does little to teach you how to actually PVP since most battles as you're progressing through the game involve a low lvl and a high lvl. You learn how to PVP later in the game and/or in BG's ... and BG's have PVE and PVP folks all grouped together. I think very little will change from this decision.
Now to touch on this portion:
"It seems unthinkable now that they'd ever allow Horde and Alliance to chat with each other or group together -- that war is what makes this Warcraft." I think I can safely say war would continue if opposing factions could communicate. Personally, I'd like RP servers a lot more if I could battle wits with the enemy rather than pre-teens trying to roleplay in my direction.
