Cataclysm Worgen and Goblin starter zone maps {WoW}
Sep 1st 2009 3:25AM Both maps look like rather nice starting areas. Most of the comments to this post don't seem to have realized that these maps are just of 1-6 starting areas, not 1-15. It's like Deathknell or Northshire Abby.
There will be a whole BG that takes place in Gilneas city, so it isn't as if the city will not be in the expansion. Just looking at the gates of that map you can see that they are not in the right place to be the Greymane Wall. Gilneas did the same thing as the High Elves and created several walls through their kingdom to further halt the progression of intruders.
Breakfast Topic: What secret weapon lies within Uldum? {WoW}
Aug 29th 2009 7:13PM I doubt that there is a super-weapon in Uldum. I'm going to guess it is will turn out to be one of those 'everyone believes it is something it is not' devices. It will most likely be able to be converted into a weapon but not be intended to be used as one.
With that, I say it is a device to create stone/mecha beings, like the rock shaper dwarves, rune giants or mecha gnomes.
We haven't found out how they were created yet and Deathwing could use it to create an another army to fight alongside his Twilight Dragonflight.

Aug 21st 2009 5:32PM Nathanos Marris was the first Ranger Lord, trained by High Elves. After he succomed to the Scourge and was freed by the Banshee Queen, he became Nathanos Blightcaller. He is a Hunter with two hound pets in Eastern Plaguelands.

They are increasing the damage of kick? Kick doesn't do damage anymore. Giving AR to all Rogues? Hell no. CQC increases all weapon crit? Whats the point of other spec talents then. Reducing the damage of FoK when they just buffed it? I doubt it.
WoW Moviewatch: Insane Gouge Crits 7 {WoW}
Jan 14th 2009 10:47PM It seems that no one understands just what Gouge does. So many complaining that their Hunters or Shaman do more damage with their abilities.
Gouge does 1 damage plus attack power * 0.2. A Steady Shot does weapon damage, plus ammo damage, ranged attack power * 0.2 + 252, with an additional 125 against dazed targets. A Lightning Bolt does 500 + 600 scales to 80% of you're spellpower.
I wonder why his crits weren't as high? Whatever could the problem be?
It would appear that some people think he was being serious with his 1 base damage ability.
I wonder how many watched the 29,000 ambush crit at the end there. High Warlord Buddhist would destroy most posters here...

Aug 21st 2008 9:19PM What if he is Deathwing? We have been wondering where the Black Dragonflight aspect as been off to. It would explain why he hasn't come back in awhile and it would make sense that we finally get to see him, we will be seeing all the others this expansion.
The Lich King with a Draco-lich Deathwing under his command. Scary thought.
