Martin Fury: What would you have done? {WoW}

May 1st 2009 3:04PM I would have reported it to Blizzard, but with the stipulation that, for my integrity and honesty, I'd be given an epic mount of my choosing...

Wrath intro zones in pictures {WoW}

Nov 11th 2008 8:32PM Oh, man -- I love all the 80's-referenced, inside joke names Blizz gave to the NPCs in Dalaran. Like Natalie Tootieblair (from the 80's show 'The Facts of Life') and Segacedi the Sewer Shark (as in one of the only noteworthy games made for the old Sega CD console). Classic, Blizz -- but the devs are kinda showing their age, aren't they?

Top ten reasons Thrall got pwned by Garrosh {WoW}

Nov 11th 2008 2:46PM IMO, Thrall has always been considered more of a strategist than a pugilist.

Also, I'd put number 5 even higher up on the list. Thrall strikes me as a real ladies man -- er, orc...

Nov 10th 2008 12:26AM My wife is still nagging me about wanting a Spectral Tiger from TCG...

Countdown to Wrath Giveaway: Day 5 - Footprints of Illidan loot card {WoW}

Nov 8th 2008 3:36PM Goes well with other items that share the green fel flame animation (i.e. Horseman's Helm, Arcanite Ripper, etc.)...

Countdown to Wrath Giveaway: Day 5 - Papa Hummel's Pet Biscuit loot card {WoW}

Nov 8th 2008 3:28PM Gotta love the novelty items. Keep it up, Blizz...

Riding Crop in flux {WoW}

Sep 2nd 2008 4:22PM Why were players complaining about the possibility of having to obtain a new Riding Crop for each mount? That method fits the existing game's mechanics perfectly. It's not as if you can take gems/enchants off of your old gear and put it on your new gear. Even for a casual WoW player, I'll admit -- that's just plain lazy...

Breakfast Topic: Warcraft movie casting call {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2008 11:18PM Well, I'm all for a completely CG representation. The game cinematics (as well as the recent 'Beowulf' film) have shown us that it is, hands-down, the best medium for accurately portraying all of the standard trappings of a fantasy world such as Azeroth.

Also, the filmmakers would not have to contend with anything physical -- no sets or film locations; no actor egos OR completely uninspired casting choices (example: Topher Grace as Eddie Brock/Venom? Why? Hugh Jackman as Wolverine? Why?). Just as in the game cinematics, the virtual characters and locales should look and perform EXACTLY as they are supposed to because they SHOULD BE directly referenced from the source material.

I, personally, would never watch a live-action Warcraft movie unless I could be absolutely sure that the team behind it could match or exceed a final product within the caliber of, say, the 'Lord of the Rings' movies...
