The Queue: I can't help it if it's true {WoW}

Jun 2nd 2009 2:26PM Rilo Kiley - Silver Lining is an excellent song choice for a short gin and tonic (with lime of course) and a refreshing scan of the daily Queue.

Patch 3.1 maintenance extended an extra two hours {WoW}

Apr 14th 2009 2:33PM Seems like valid logic. However, there are some of us oddballs who really want to get in and be among the first to plant boots on dead bosses' chests, so it really isn't an option for us.

Warrior changes in Patch 3.1 PTR build 9722 {WoW}

Mar 24th 2009 1:33PM The Imp Zerker Stance change is a nerf, especially since Blizzard has been unable to itemize dps plate since Vanilla WoW.

With 150ish stam on every piece of T8.5, it was already pretty clear that more and more mail and leather would be the way to go as end-game continued in WotLK, much like in BC with the Cursed Vision and Sunwell items.

Unfortunately, with about nine 3.0.9 BiS pieces (including some leather and two strength-less Betrayers of Humanity), I'm taking a pretty hefty hit on overall AP come 3.1. Somewhere in the ballpark of 150 AP is out the window.

In other news, the Rend changes are for spell ranks, not talent ranks. A pretty underwhelming patch for raiding fury warriors, and another push to go failarms.

The many uses of Shadowmeld {WoW}

Jan 8th 2009 3:30PM So...

The raid's wiping. You're a Night Elf (let's assume not a rezzing class, so rogue or warrior or somesuch). Would this macro work?

/cast Shadowmeld
/Outfitter toggle Birthday Suit

Or would that not work for some reason? I haven't played my 70 Nelf since pre-3.0. Seems pretty sweet to me for saving repair bills.
