The limits of Video Mode Ultra {WoW}

Apr 29th 2009 2:05AM Adox, please don't make uninformed statements :3

I'd suggest reading this article: http://www.100fps.com/how_many_frames_can_humans_see.htm

Basically, people who go around saying "The human brain can only process 30/60/100/200 frames per second" have no idea what they're talking about.

For many people, 30 or even 60 frames per second is not enough to create a perfectly fluid picture.

Behind the scenes on the Comcast bandwidth limit {WoW}

Oct 3rd 2008 8:23PM Seriously, these articles are ridiculous. The fact that people are panicking about 250GB... you're taking the internet for granted.

Ask a Beta Tester: Soundtracks, trinkets, and travel {WoW}

Oct 1st 2008 8:36PM No. The 'Kirin Tor' your seeing is just the mob's title, not its actual faction, kinda like 'General Goods Vendor'. If a mob is actually part of a faction that faction usually isn't under their name as well.

It's also unlikely that they'll be converted into a faction anyway, as it's Blizzard's philosophy to not link the expansions together like that.

Fan Art bears resemblence to work of Michael Turner {WoW}

Sep 4th 2008 3:54AM I'm not ready to yell "PLAGIARISM", but I think you guys should take a closer look at the drawing (particularly that close up of the hands).

It's not a homage, and the artist didn't just happen to use a similar pose - it's a trace. The hands are in the -exact- same position, down to the angle of each finger.

Whether or not it's illegal, it's super lame to just trace over and edit someone's artwork like that.

On WoW's bandwidth consumption {WoW}

Aug 29th 2008 7:50PM True. If you're worrying about a 250GB... you have no idea how lucky you guys have it.

Wrath sound files point to world event {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2008 9:10PM It's not Arthas.

Play WC3: TFT, then play the original WotLK trailer (not the cinematic, the gameplay one). This isn't the voice of Arthas, so you can rest easy.

And Ner'zhul/Arthas are now, essentially, *the same person*. If you refer to one then you're referring to the other; they aren't two different beings anymore.
