Jan 16th 2012 10:23AM Let's not forget about the night elf racial; that free 2% dodge makes them an excellent choice for progression tanking in Alliance guilds.
Jan 16th 2012 10:21AM While I think all the fuss about Diplomacy is much ado about nothing, I do agree that Every Man for Himself is one of the best racials in the game, even if you don't PvP.
Jan 16th 2012 10:16AM People whine about Diplomacy all the time, and frankly, I'm sick of it. All it really amounts to is having to grind rep for a day or two less than other races do. But once you hit exalted, which never takes long, it's useless.
I would gladly give up diplomacy for a racial that actually does something, like the tauren war stomp and extra health, or the draenei's healing power or 1% hit racial.
Jan 7th 2012 6:38AM Whit, do you mean Hayden Hawke, of the infamous gold guides?
Jan 2nd 2012 1:29PM Please... give me a kitten! A friend needs one to match her mount. :-)
Dec 26th 2011 7:47AM I'm in North America and really need more WoW time! :-)
Nov 13th 2011 8:47AM In my experience with both SMF and TG, mastery is indeed absolutely terrible for Fury. Hit and crit are both terrific, and mastery and haste are generally reforged to these stats. Haste at least gives you faster autoattacks for smoother rage generation, but even if you spam Berserker Rage and Raging Blow, mastery is less than ideal. Back when mastery started at 8 and scaled well, it was a different story, and 4.3 has been tinkering with this idea on the PTR. Mastery was buffed for 4.3, then nerfed again, and will likely remain at its current 4.2 "starts at 2 and scales horribly" iteration.
Nov 12th 2011 10:48AM This disingenous loot handling strategy may work, but wasn't it stated that items won on a Need roll using the LFD system would become soulbound upon being won and picked up? The Raid Finder seems ideally suited for such a measure, simply to prevent the abuse of "guild runs" where the actual PUGs have almost no chance to win a drop that a member of the guild group wants.
Nov 8th 2011 7:27AM Maybe Mr. Rossi speaks of the Pompitus of Love. :-)
Nov 1st 2011 7:50AM Luckily, I had the mount on both of my 85s from a couple years ago, when it still dropped off the horseman himself, because I never saw it otherwise this year. Likewise, I never found the helmet (which was beautifully itemized for my warrior's Fury off spec) in my pumpkin bag, despite seeing every clothie I know get it multiple times. I really wish they had allowed the helmet and saber to be bought with tokens!
