Feb 20th 2012 8:51PM My priest has been my main since vanilla. Looking at how much they're currently looking at taking spells away from each spec, this is the first time I've been scared for my favorite class.

I want to be able to be able to drop out of shadow to help heal in emergencies. I want to still be able to to Holy Nova while specced holy or prayer of healing while disc. I don't want to lose spells I love in the name of "diversity". Basically, I love the flexibility priests have.

Other classes (especially pure dps) seem to be sharing MORE between specs, not less. For example, look at all the mage spells that were made into talents usable by any spec. Yes, I know there are a few priest spells that will now be available to all specs, but I'm nervous about how many are changing to spec specific.

Gotta keep reminding myself that nothing's final! *deep breaths* *cross fingers*

Sep 6th 2011 1:21AM Wand specialization... it was actually good for early level combat. Up until around level 25 or so, a disc priest with a wand could keep up with most other classes in dps. Low level wands put out much higher damage proportionally (at least they did at the time, not sure about now). It was boring to wand instead of cast different spells, but it meant all that mana could go to quickly healing back up after fights instead of eating/drinking.
