Aug 14th 2009 5:46PM EZ, you don't have to be a smart-ass. Most people have some kind of unit frames that show bosses health in millions. You did know that didn't you?
Aug 12th 2009 9:13AM While Mim was a very interesting and challenging fight, there really is no excuse for not being able to beat him right now.
Jul 7th 2009 4:14PM I really like this blog, but the "Preparing for Blizzcon post is so stupid." Anyone who is lucky enough to get Blizzcon tickets probably already has figured out his/her gameplan for blizzcon. Also, one's wisdom has to be questioned when you are writing an article clearly dedicated to the small percentage of people who have even received these tickets. Forgive me if this was said already, I doubt anyone actually commented "Hey thanks for telling me to get good shoes if I'm standing for 8+ hours!"
Jun 18th 2009 5:34PM However, maybe if Blizz wants people to run heorics again they should make them fun and actually requiring CC/Strategy with desirable loot such as H MgT instead of the easy crap in WoTLK
Jun 18th 2009 5:25PM This is upsetting because many people are serious about progression. To be progressing through end game content, one needs to download addons, look up fights and dedicate time to raiding. That doesn't mean that they do not have fun or that they are elitist, it is just their preffered way to play. Now, casuals expect gear on par with what they raided many nights for without putting in the effort. Plus this gear isn't even useful to casuals! However, casuals are apparantly the "majority" now (not that anyone can exactly define what a casual is, I can just as easily say raiders are the majority because most people stepped into Naxx 10 once) and we should in turn reward them with welfare epics.
Jun 18th 2009 9:49AM Interesting, at first I didn't like the idea of a "Heroic" Raid.
However, it could be used to make hard modes more intuitive and less gimmicky.
What I don't like is the fact that there are only 5 bosses for a whole tier of loot. Even with heroics that seems a bit low.
May 27th 2009 9:11PM Yeah, the main theme of these ulduar fight seems to be
"Lets give our healers as big of a heart attack as possible:
Nov 20th 2008 6:57AM Honestly, IM more disappointed with there being only one multi-boss raid rather then the raids being easier.
