May 21st 2009 4:08PM I don't think they care. Over the past couple years I've noticed an increase in what seems to be an 'it's our game, we'll do what we want to, don't care what our paying subscribers think, you will eat what we feed you and you'll like it' attitude. Even some of the replys by blues in Blizz forums are, to be blunt smart-assed. For every player who gets fed up and quits another batch of unsuspecting players subscribe, and since they don't know how it once was, it keeps their numbers up. It's all about that bottom line.
May 21st 2009 10:37AM WG is about more than daily quests - the shards, honor and gold were nice, but I ran them for the fun even after my dailies were done and I'm hoping enough people feel the same to keep WG alive and hopping. It's a shame Blizz finally introduced a decent battleground and now they want less people to use it. Will this nerf cause more players to scurry over to the other three bgs? Doubtful. Will it lessen lag? Very unlikely seeing as how Dal lags halfway between battles anyway. Is it likely to be another thing to add to the list of things Blizz has been doing to pee people off? Very likely.
Give me some incentive to go to the other bg's, make them fun instead of drawn out boring honor gathering holes and I'll go. I simply don't find them as much fun as Wintergrasp. But yeah, the amount of gold and shards we are losing is a rip off. Maybe Blizz didn't like that some of us were getting better gear too fast to suit them, who knows, sigh.

Oct 29th 2008 1:52PM "how the gameplay design of the event (when you are killed by a zombie, you become one)"
Nope. You did NOT have to be killed by a zombie to become one - an attack or being exploded on was enough. Had one had to be killed to zombify I imagine the complaints would have been fewer.
