The glyph of the future {WoW}

Mar 2nd 2012 11:24PM Just thought of another one, usable by lvl80+ Glyph of "Sleep under the Stars" the Hearth Stone now has two functions,Right click sends you to the Inn, Left click pitches a tent with cot you can sleep on and get the same rested bonus....frivolous yes, fun yes especially if you were flagged when you went to bed in your tent.

The glyph of the future {WoW}

Mar 2nd 2012 11:12PM Give us some Cosmetic Glyphs please.

Something like Tattoos!

Or one that lets a Worgan Druid transform into a Pure Wolf Form instead of Cat - no changes to the attacks just the visual form, feels kinda odd for a werewolf to transform into a cat for feral combat I'm always afraid I'll only change half way and end up chasing myself all over the zone.

Worgen druids at the end of Cataclysm {WoW}

Feb 14th 2012 2:51PM If something happened to cause a Worgan Druid to only half transform to cat form - would they chase themselves?

The aesthetic consequences of new character models {WoW}

Jan 24th 2012 1:42AM Just a thought -
I have always enjoyed the RP aspect of the game

Why not just use some of the options already available in the NPC's as body type options for the player; i.e. Let us pick a body type as an option in the Character Generation Menu.

1. the Taunka body type for the Tauren Males

2. The Chinese do not allow the bones to be shown (a serious taboo in their culture as I understand it) let us have their body type as an option.

3. The muscular body type of the female Orcs in Outland (it would make more sense for a female warrior that's for sure)

4. The muscular Troll male bodytype for the same reasons as #3 above and maybe a little posture training as well. Stooped over like that all the time no wonder they keep trying to straighten their backs - they're trying to get those kinks out. BTW the Forest Trolls in Ghostlands stand straighter then our guys do.

5. fat humans like Mayor Quimby (would be great for a mage or lock so long as they have a beard and 'stache to cover that "hair-lip')

The rest just need tweaks as others have said - easily done for the most part with the existing hair styles. (they did it once, why not again?) allow more crossover in the hair styles and colors.

Armor fits is the main drawback that I can see, more body types equals more armor re-fits and there is a lot of armor. #2 would be the easiest with the armor fits since they had to do it already for China the rest would need to be tweaked in the codes for armor fits for the body types which is what would take the time for the Code Monkeys to do..

Dec 31st 2011 7:22PM Your responses are all fine and good. But here's a twist for you. It was my understanding that LFD and RF were put in to help the casual player see end game content that would not other wise be available to them. In order to get into the dungeons you need good gear. The good gear you are trying to get is in the dungeon you were just kicked from because you gear was not good enough.

As to pulling weight by how high their DPS is, well sometimes a player has a physical handicap that my prevent them from pulling high DPS. I myself am a stroke survivor and only have partial use of my left hand which makes key pounding kinda iffy and makes me use my mouse for almost everything. On a bad day my mage sucks at around 3k DPS on a good day 8-9k DPS, same gear, same enchants.

LFD has "Luck of the Draw". I still wonder why we can't play with the cards we are dealt as far as I'm concerned "that which kills me, only serves to make me stronger." And people do need to learn the dungeons which is difficult if you have been kicked due to your bad gear which you were going into the dungeon to get in the first place.

Thank you, I think I'm out of Sour Apples now.

Dec 31st 2011 1:24PM A Q for the Q;
What is the reasoning behind kicking a party member for "bad gear" before the run has even started when using either of the Finders? I thought the purpose of running in a PUG was to get new gear and not be elitist snobs. Or did Steamwheedle Cartel/US get more than it's fair share of Goblin Rejects?
