The future of healing in the Arena {WoW}

Jan 5th 2009 7:02PM If I remember correctly, at 685 res, I get 18.38% critical strike dmg reduction and 8.36% crit reduction.

A former post on wowinsider place the soft cap at 1200ish resilience. with up to 33% reduction...

I want to see the math tho.

The future of healing in the Arena {WoW}

Jan 5th 2009 6:41PM I'm a healer with 700ish res approching the 1700s rating in 2s and 3s. The burst dmg going out from any combo of rogue/mage/ret is insane at a level where this is not even a game anymore.

I agree that burst should be able to take a healer down, but I survive about 3 secondes when a rogue open on me with a mage around (2s or 3s). It s now at a ridiculous level where if there is a rogue we can't win the match. Wound poison change is actually a huge buff to them.

I hope they look into the pvp mechanism to give a chance to a healer to survive the burst for more than a few seconds.

Phat Loot Phriday: Oracle Talisman of Ablution {WoW}

Nov 28th 2008 6:16PM There was a similar trinket at exalted with the sha'tari skyguard in BC the trinket was giving an AP buff for couple of second after getting a killing blow.

and had a passive Crit rating.

I only used this as a pvp trinket before getting the battlemaster one and in combat like Vash where you had to kill a tone of adds yourself.

Not too much of a phat loot to me...

Insurmountable random resists gone for Wrath {WoW}

Sep 8th 2008 2:40PM It's a sort of buff to racial magic school resistance! Unless oyu have spell penetration enchant.

It was anoying, but I liked the randomness of things which make stuff more unpredictable more exciting.

3.0 won't break everything {WoW}

Aug 27th 2008 3:40PM While I would like to see some changes to balance PvP, I m not sure how they will affect the game play at lvl 70 while it's originally designed for lvl 80 content.

I think 2.0 was in Vanilla WoW for about 1 month, right?
