Breakfast Topic: Do you read the WoW novels? {WoW}

Oct 25th 2011 8:37AM I like both authors for different reasons but both good authors.
Golden keeps the story progressing at a good space which keeps me interested.
Knaak describes situations and details at such a higher level.
Both are different writing styles and I commend both for doing it. I recommend all their WoW books as they are all good reads and give you back story that Blizzard could not put into the game.

Breakfast Topic: Do you read the WoW novels? {WoW}

Oct 25th 2011 8:33AM Weather that be Blizzard's intention or not the novels do allow Blizzard to fill in gaps and tell stories that could not fit or make it into the game.

Blizzard auctioning off old servers for charity {WoW}

Oct 13th 2011 3:25PM At Blizzcon 2010 they had an entire enclosure onsite that contained multiple blades.

Metzen talks user-created content at GDC panel {WoW}

Oct 12th 2011 3:32PM And that doesn't happen in the player generated content in Starcraft?
That's why people rate stuff to try out. If it can be managed by the users then it won't impede on Blizzard employees as much and since it is downloadable content it doesn't impact the main game. I am envisioning it as a way to get some friends together, search through the online content and try it out. If it sucks then the players can report it or downrate it and it doesn't get used as much.

Metzen talks user-created content at GDC panel {WoW}

Oct 12th 2011 1:39PM I think they should take what they have accomplished with StarCraft and go that direction with making users download user generated maps and keep it separate from the actual in game content.

Imagine being able to download a player generated 5 man dungeon that you can bring your friends into. User generated content isn't perfect and some better than others but finding them and playing the good ones makes it even better.

Blizzard responds to Guardian Cub controversy {WoW}

Oct 11th 2011 4:15PM I just hope they reconsider making it bound to a single toon to making it bound to Battle.net account upon first use.

BlizzCon 2011 schedule of events {WoW}

Oct 6th 2011 4:59PM Looks like they move the Panel Discussion Stage from hall C to A.
Hmm, that will be a pain to get to compared to last year when going from panel to panel.

WoW Moviewatch: Class Stereotypes {WoW}

Oct 4th 2011 1:42PM For me its been more like:

Hey this week we need you to DPS.
Oh this week we are short a tank and need you to fill in.

Funny either way.

Patch 4.3 PTR: Transmogrification and Void Storage gallery {WoW}

Sep 28th 2011 3:19PM I think the Void Storage will be useful. Been keeping those Bloodsail and Holiday items in my bank so might as well put them in void storage.

The one issue I have with Void Storage is that I think it is too small. Been collecting all the tier gear and whatever cool weapons that have dropped that I can equip and my void storage only has 20 slots left and I haven't even started collecting T1 and T2 and any weapons that drop there. Guess you can call me a pack rat but I would love the extra space to collect everything.
