Breakfast Topic: What's the one thing you can't wait to find out about Mists? {WoW}

Mar 29th 2012 9:47AM the thing I want to know most is what things they're getting rid of in the patch, so I can do them/get them before they're gone. This usually ends up being achievement related. It's a pretty good motivator for me to grind, cuz I'm not normally one to do so, but for example I ended up getting the Zandalar exalted achievement (now feat) before cataclysm dropped.

Breakfast Topic: What's your most anticipated patch 4.3 feature? {WoW}

Nov 29th 2011 9:46AM without a doubt, I'm looking forward to void storage the most. I have become a virtual hoarder to the point that it was debilitating, so now I'll be able to hoard a bunch of my stuff elsewhere and free up enough room that I can start collecting a PvP set! I haven't actually ever PvP'd since they started resilience since I couldn't afford room for a second set. Who knows, maybe I'll even start tanking as an off-spec with all the room I'll have!

Breakfast Topic: Who should play your character in the WoW movie? {WoW}

Oct 28th 2011 7:15PM I think Deborah Ann Woll would make a great Jaina Proudmoore actually! But for me, as a Dwarf Fury Warrior, I'd love John Rhys-Davies naturally. John portrayed Gimli so well and I love his voice! Perfect for a hilariously awesome dwarf.

Breakfast Topic: Are you running out of stuff? {WoW}

Oct 19th 2011 9:17AM I get this funk too. It used to be that I'd go back and do old content. Nowadays, with so many quests gone, I find that there really is nothing else to do. I'd have liked to finish some of the epic quest lines, like AQ and the dungeon set 2 (I was on the last step but the chest piece wouldn't drop!) With all the improvements to the game, it really does seem like there's less to do now.

The OverAchiever: Examining patch 4.3's new achievements, part 2 {WoW}

Sep 29th 2011 9:21PM I'm sad about that feat for the Air Rifle. Pretty sure if you use all 200 charges like I did it disappears, therefor I don't have the rifle and won't get the feat. Lame that using an item as intended will exclude you from a feat. ...unless they've accounted for that and tracked who actually picked it up, but I doubt that.

Blizzard clarifies transmogrification rules {WoW}

Sep 23rd 2011 3:27PM I too don't agree with the 'sillyness' factor being an issue. SOMEONE made those items, so they should be celebrated along with all the other items. And really, how many people will actually do it? Do they expect that they'll see a raid full of people wielding fish? Probably won't happen. And if it does? So what! The game has enough comedy in it that I don't think drawing the line here makes any sense.

Personally, I won't be using silly items, but I would have liked to use some white and grey items, for at least some of my characters (probably not my main).

Lastly, I also don't agree with the legendary restrictions either. If people are going to go to the lengths they have to in order to get a legendary, they should be able to show them off. I think it would add to the exotic nature of the legendaries. I personally don't have any legendaries, but I don't see what's wrong with it. I could see if you didn't have to have the item, but if you have to put the work in to actually get it anyway, then you might as well be allowed to show it off.

WoW Insider's chronological guide to Warcraft novels, manga, comics, and short stories {WoW}

Aug 5th 2011 12:10AM yea, they're available through the Cryptozoic Comics app on iPhone. Not sure about other formats though. Also, World of Warcraft Special Issue 1: Beginnings and Ends is printed in Book 4 of the World of Warcraft 'graphic novel' (AKA the compilations of the comics made into book format)

Addon Spotlight: Making the most of macros with MacroBank {WoW}

Jul 14th 2011 3:04PM so is there a database of macros already uploaded? Like, can I just search under warrior and find commonly used macros, for example? Or do you specifically have to get one from someone you interact with?

Breakfast Topic: What's that one quirky thing you just have to do? {WoW}

Jul 12th 2011 11:29AM I hearth to IF. This has always been the case since I'm a dwarf. Also, I'm an engineer, so I can get to every other continent some other way. Now that SW is the hub I kinda feel obligated to change my hearth... but I just love IF. I probly won't ever do it. It's not THAT long of a flight to SW...

That isn't the thing people bug me about though. Being a dwarf warrior, I find it ridiculous to use swords! haha I love axes and maces, so up until cata I've purposely not rolled on swords when they drop and my guild leader used to yell at me because they were usually pretty big upgrades (he's an RL friend tho so I don't really care). But at least before I could say that I'm holding out for a certain weapon, because there were always high-end axes and maces. The pickings are pretty slim in cata, especially for SMF. I now have a mace and sword combo in both TG and SMF :( However I still refuse to put the sword in my main hand lol

Patch 4.2: The keyring is gone. Gozer is saddened. {WoW}

May 23rd 2011 1:32PM lame. Because I really need MORE crap in my inventory...
