Mar 17th 2010 3:52PM I didn't know Dr. Girlfriend played a priest!
Fantastic video. :D
Mar 3rd 2010 1:10PM Huzzah! I've watched that video so many times now that I'm convinced it's my favorite WoW machinima.
Nov 23rd 2009 9:12AM Oh goodness, I'd love to have one of these! I've been begging for a kitten for Christmas, but we can't afford one. This would so be the next best thing. :D
Jul 14th 2009 3:16PM I enjoyed this as an introductory interview but would love to read more details on specific applications to other models of education. At which point do the students find themselves connecting educational experiences in WoW to more traditional academic practices? Do they receive materials at the start of the course to provide them with a platform for understanding WoW's modes of discourse as practice for other coursework? Or does the very nature of online gaming necessitate a more organic approach to learning development? How does funding for a program like this work, especially in consideration of those students who would benefit from this but lack the financial means to participate?
Dec 26th 2008 12:44PM Splendiferous! For me, the epic feel of the fight contrasted too much with a soundtrack that I'd expect to hear in one of The Transporter movies. Creating a new plot with well-known characters keeps me immersed in the Warcraft environment, but the music only serves to pull me out of that immersion, thus distracting me from the excellent animation and plot development.
That one small criticism aside, I loved this, and I hope to see more from Percula!
Nov 6th 2008 8:39AM All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth ... and the WotLK CE. :(
Oct 21st 2008 10:28PM Sorry, nope. Still going to do the swift flight form quests. I'd rather have fun with something unique to my class than dish out money to train the boring way.
Oct 9th 2008 4:12PM I ate too many caramels. Curse you, delicious Halloween candy!
