Nov 3rd 2010 3:32PM hmm, been checking the tooltip and see where it all went wrong. it heals for a percentage of your maximum health. Normally you heal 30% in ticks of 3. However, it heals an additional 2% of your total health (not healing done) resulting in it healing 50% of your total health. You might want to make clear how you mean it.
Nov 3rd 2010 3:23PM Eh, are you sure a 2% increase per tick results in a 60% increase in overall healing? Let's see. assume we have something that deals 100 damage divided over 10 ticks of 10 each. We give it a 10% increase per tick, so 11 damage per tick. 10*11 is 110, which is a 10% increase in overall healing as well.
Jul 1st 2010 6:05PM I do expect that mana regen through Telluric currents is the idea. however, it scaling of lightning bolt damage is not a good idea. Either the talent is OP or UP all the way, or UP when undergeared and OP when overgeared. It probably is best if it generates a certain percentage of base mana
Jun 28th 2010 10:03AM What I most definitely won't miss is Dark Storms, the quest you get in Durotar as soon as you leave the starter area, but which you have to wait till you leave the Durotar to even attempt it. Add to that that you have to kill one caster with another caster add in a cramped up space with several mobs surrounding it, and you'll get fried orc/troll. I'm not surprised it that quest convinced some people not to buy the game.
Jun 10th 2010 5:30PM No, melee should be a weakness for Hunters. Out of all classes, they have the best attacking opportunities. they have a very large range and most of their attacks are instant cast, meaning that they can still do very good damage while moving. If you'd give them those abilities in melee range as well, it would just be to difficult to kill them. This melee weakness is something need to be countered.
May 7th 2010 3:17AM Well, the way it is written in the tooltip, the shock does not need to hit the target. Neat, eh?
May 6th 2010 6:38PM I can see it useful for a pve situation. However, more as an emergency mechanic than as a base mechanic. Weaving shocks with the heals will only cost more mana for a bigger heal. But when a boss has a nasty AoE, combining this with healing rain will be pretty nice
Apr 1st 2010 8:06PM Okay, where the hell did I walk in this time. Last couple of insiders I kind of knew, but this one? Best to keep on walking, I guess.
Apr 1st 2010 6:03PM Right, now I'm really lost. Wrong insider again
I think I should run now...
Apr 1st 2010 4:21PM Eh, mixed up left and right again, I guess. I wonder where I'll end up next time...
