The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Prot PvP {WoW}

Dec 5th 2009 4:22AM I agree with this, as a holy paladin (proper holy not fotm prot/holy :p) playing with an MS warrior I find prot 2v2 teams fairly easy to deal with. They usually run with another dps, and in all cases we ignore the prot warrior and kill the teammate. Their strengths are massive survivability, so rather than wasting time trying to knock down a house by repeatedly spitting on it (nice line btw) we avoid their cc, ignore their hp and survivability until we've killed the teammate. I'm sure when we're getting higher in the ratings we'll see prot pvp warriors gearing better, like that draek guy, wearing all pvp/dps gear and enchants for the arp and damage, but for now we're not having any trouble at all.

Breakfast Topic: How many of you play on a Mac? {WoW}

Nov 21st 2009 8:24AM I used to play on a windows pc then my mates convinced me to get an Imac. I love it! Of course it's down to personal preference, but I have an xbox for most other games and my mac for wow, and I would never look back!

Patch 3.0.8 download mirror [Updated] {WoW}

Jan 21st 2009 5:17AM I personally tend to have trouble with blizzard's downloader and I run a mac. I tend to use torrent programs to download the patch it works much quicker for me especially on these small patches, blizz DL'er takes a while to warm up.
On a mac, if you first locate the 3.0.3 -> 3.0.8 application in your wow folder, then right click -> open "show package contents" -> contents -> resources. In this folder you will find the torrent file that the blizard downloader uses, called downloader.torrent. Open this using your usual torrent downloader application and voila :)

World first Level 80 Death Knight? {WoW}

Nov 19th 2008 8:53PM I love how many people took the time to write out long-winded comments on how they supposedly don't care about world firsts and have better things to do with their time than play wow non-stop!
It's only once every few years or so, and blizzard did anticipate a lot of over-doing it on the leveling and took out the rewards for the realm first to 80 per class/race a while back.

Nymh of EU Drek'thar first to level 80 {WoW}

Nov 13th 2008 10:30PM Nymh has achieved something in a game, something that he/she wanted to, why is there always someone waiting to have a go at people like nymh? Jealousy most likely, it's not hurting anybody that's for sure! Gz on 80!

Not at BlizzCon? Enter to win a Tabard of Flame anyway {WoW}

Oct 9th 2008 11:22AM wonder which post will even come close to comments left on this topic :p

Totem Talk: Curses, foiled again {WoW}

Sep 11th 2008 5:23PM My comments have been restrained mostly due to the totem talk column giving me a glimpse of hope for thunderstorm. I've spent ages gearing for that talent and now it's crap, ofc my gear will be good for healing which is what i will end up doing if TS isn't rebuffed.

Raid buffs overhauled for 3.0.2 {WoW}

Sep 2nd 2008 1:23PM Judging by the comments left here, it seems unless Spriests are getting a major buff, we are returning to a pre-BC state of priests-healers only. I'm interested to see what direction the S-priest takes in WotLK.
