Nov 21st 2008 12:50PM On my 71 druid I tried using the BG trick twice and I got 2 back to back loading screens. The first one was of Dalaran, then it instantly went to shatt loading screen(which was my hearth). When the game finally loaded I got the "Discovered Dalaran" but I was in Shatt. I used this trick as my pally a couple days ago and it worked but I was level 72. Has this been hot fixed so you are not able to do it anymore or is level 72 required for all other classes besides mages?
Nov 14th 2008 2:59PM I got a 68 druid now....I DO have a 70 pally but since they are effectively nerfed to anything useful (im Hloly btw) he is now shelved for good (or until the developers actually know what they want to do with the class) and I went with a class that they are choosing to never nerf...at least for the past year or so.
Nov 14th 2008 11:56AM Yea, basically he had a pocket healer and mage out of group. He would tag the mob and then move on to another while the others killed it for him....So not only did 1 person do this, all 3 did.
congrats i guess. I'll take my time and level at a healthy pace
Oct 25th 2008 2:34PM retlol will always be retlol. Now hloly is about even with it so hey we still got prot right.....right!!??
Oct 24th 2008 4:35PM All this means to me is I have less time to log on and trick or treat before someone infects me with this lame event. Some people like the event and that's cool. For me I don't like pvp so this event isn't for me.
Oct 24th 2008 4:32PM As for this metallica exclusivity, it just means they got more money from activision. The South Park episode was dead on with some of these bands and how money is the only thing they think about.
Oct 24th 2008 4:31PM I'm pretty sure Tool will only be on GH. There was an interview on IGN with Adam Jones (Tool guitarist) and he basically said we chose GH because they worked with us and let us choose the style of the venue and how they wanted to be in the game. They are very particular when they license their music.
With the Tool songs, you don't see a band on stage. You see what you would see in the album artwork. Funky colors, pictures, eyes moving around, etc.
Sep 5th 2008 10:04AM Bottom line is the average soccer mom is going to go to the store this holiday season and see 2 prices. $199 for the cheapest xbox and $399 for the cheapest ps3. Which do you think they will choose? Sure the arcade is pointless to buy imo but that doesn't mean it won't be bought. You can bring up all you want about the ever falling stats of RROD (that still happening?) But the average mom/dad isn't going to know about it and therefore isn't going to impact the decision when buying. Even IF the salesperson somehow manages to steer them away from the arcade version, the premium xbox is still 100 dollars cheaper. I'm not sure on the stance of the Elite though. I am not sure how a new color and 60 more gigs = 100 dollars to MS. I say this as an owner of both next gen systems.
Sep 3rd 2008 12:07PM my thoughts exactly.
Sep 3rd 2008 10:48AM I gotta agree with Samfish on this one. Why must every game now a days be a generic run and gun. Which is what this game is turning into. What ever happened to the RE games that actually had zombies. Sorry but a duck and cover/run while shooting does not make it an RE game. They are just tacking on the Resident Evil name along with adding a character from the series so the game sells well. I wish capcom would finally make a true sequal rather then RE 4.5. Heck I would even settle for a RE 2 remake.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it will be a decent game but all these new additions are ruining the franchise.
