Jul 10th 2011 11:14AM Let's see. Things in WoW I've tried that I didn't think I would enjoy: Parties. Guilds. Dungeon parties. Random dungeon parties. Raids. Duels. Battlegrounds. Talking to people.
Now if you were hoping for a story about how once I tried each of those things I turned around and made them an indispensable part of my daily life, I may have to disappoint. To this day, nothing in this game has been less frustrating than any activity where you have to deal with the people who play it.
Jan 2nd 2011 5:34PM That's about it. But of course he knows what he's talking about because unlike most movie directors, he's not too busy to play games all day long!
And notice how he's talking as if no one before had had the idea to make a videogame movie built on story and cinematography and stuff instead of game mechanics.
Where do they find these lunatics?
Oct 31st 2010 3:06AM I'm just posting to point out that the ads below this post on the front page include a freaking conspiracy theorist's claim that "Health companies won't tell you Alzheimer's is caused by food and if you buy our stuff you can beat it." Hilarious, but I really have to wonder how many cases of false advertising could be made against that, and if your site really wants to stand for this kind of legally questionable disinformation campaign.
Oct 29th 2010 8:12AM Yeah, I have laid eyes on other players' gear. In both Stormwind and Dalaran, even. On maybe ten occasions in five years.
I did get a max level toon and tried to play the gearing up game once, too.
But then I quit playing for over a year. It was boring.
I'm not happy with quest rewards so much as I don't look at my items unless I have to. There's a lo tof things to see in the world, and my toon is maybe the least interesting of them all.
Oct 25th 2010 3:42AM Huh, everyone's worried about some jerk harassing the kid. Wouldn't it be possible for some nice person to be nice to him as well? Among 11 million players there's sure to be a real saint or three. His life could be changed by some chance meeting. He could have become the next Buddha.
I'm not saying protecting his privacy was the wrong choice. I'm saying why are we only considering the worst that could happen?
Oct 23rd 2010 5:23AM Yeah, women are just like people. Big shocker.
Oct 18th 2010 1:22PM Tried trick or treating an inkeeper while in a Druid's travel form, got the debuff and nothing else. A great start of the event huh.
Oct 10th 2010 2:57PM I'm a complete altaholic. Every moment I play a class I miss doing something another class does. I'd say that's an accurate representation of who I am. I've been working for many years to deconstruct my personality in order to be able to be anyone and do anything I want.
