After all, a game does degrade when you use it, it's ... pages get torn ... and you need to buy ... parts from the company to keep it running ... and the graphics degrade so new games look better?

They are the same thing!
There are so very few people working for "EA" there is John, his secretery, some people who do the finance, the janitors, all the others work at studios, like Viceral, Dice, BioWare, Maxis, Sims, Brightlight, Black Box, Phenomic, Critierion, Mythic, Tiburion, EA Canada, EA-NC, EALA, ESSC or anyplace in IDS.

I'm sure this fresh faced company can do it, after all, the creators of Everquest 1 and 2 hardly knew what they were doing, right?
