Feb 27th 2010 9:35AM I was really tickled that they thought the GC moose sign was shooped!
But yes, I can't wait to see the female worgen, worgen mounts, and goblin mounts. Also, I'm dying to know if the starter area Gilneas mastiffs are going to be tameable. I despise all wolves, in every form, and finally relented to have one of those warlock wolves, but I would be ever so happy to have a mastiff instead.
It's really wonderful for them to realize that hunters just want more pets. XD They could always have like, an instanced island where once a hunter tames a pet, they can let it go there for easy retaming (I'm looking at you, King Krush.)
Dec 9th 2009 4:21PM Okay, I agree with the whole "Alliance has no decent battlecry" thing. I mean, it's so INTEGRAL to good group dynamic. Think about any good football team. What do they have in spades? Team spirit. We alliance ain't got no spirit.
When you were given the choice to choose a faction on the character creation screen, did you look at your choices and say "Hmmmmm the alliance looks like a stable choice. Their cities are well built and their economics are strong. I'll go for that." Or did you say "Oh geez, the horde have scraped out a living from the desert and built a fortress city from scratch, yeah that looks cool, let's join them and help out."
Yeah, I thought so. Join the jerks-with-the-spoons-up-the-rear or the jerks who found the scattered refugees and banded together to make a whole? People tend to root for the 'apparent' underdog. Now before you jump all over me with your lorelol, I'm just giving you my IMPRESSION. This is pretty much how it feels. Also, the alliance is so tame that they could be ruled by a child for a while.
Wrynn is a prick. At least make him a good-looking prick, ffs. I think the real love is actually for Thrall. I adore him, and I'm a dwarf. I'd become a traitor, given the chance and the quest chain. Good thing that I know ahead of time that he's gonna make like a fetus and head out.
Dec 3rd 2009 12:34PM Dear Greatfather Winter,
Please feed the orphans of Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Shattrath, and Dalaran. No one remembers them during the hectic holiday seasons. Grant us a daily to be able to bring them food, and receive some sort of reputation as a reward.
For myself, I would like the ability to keep a reindeer mount. I have rescued the wayward Metzen EVERY SINGLE YEAR, and am ready to keep a reindeer of my own. =) Also, an achievment to have all of your flight mounts be 310% mounts would be nice, but I'm not greedy. Either that, or a baby murloc in a santa suit would be adorable as a gift, but I have already heard something about a bb gun. I keep on having to remind our younger members that they won't get one, as they could put an eye out.
Please, please, PLEASE consider reindeer mounts.
Nov 16th 2009 5:33PM Also, don't forget Warcraft's charming Three Worgen moon.
It's actually cooler than some of the shirts featured in the post.
Nov 14th 2009 10:50AM No one is looking at the big picture here. The goblins look like rap stars' girlfriends. If this is the case, do worgen get powdered wigs and shit like that to fit the 'time period' Gilneas is modeled after?
Powdered wigs and hoop skirted dresses. With plunging necklines.
I ALREADY SAW A TOP HAT, DAMNIT.
Nov 9th 2009 7:46PM I seriously am in love with every single other set, except the hunter one. Which is what I get. Oh joy, a penis hat. Thanks Blizzard. Just what a female dwarf needs, yet another phallus at face level. Even if you turn to the side, it doesn't go away. NO. IT GETS WORSE.
"Oh my, my hat has a nice....curvature."
...female draenei will be in love with this hat. Looks like I gotta get my druid up to gear.
Oct 31st 2009 10:13PM Ty very much! Just one thing. I'm a she. =3
Oct 31st 2009 9:22PM @Eddie Carrington
Uhm...actually, that was me who dug up the info on the star business, as well as the Starcraft 2 reference. There's also a stargate reference if you read down a bit... Oh well, at least Mania recognized me. T^T
Jun 2nd 2009 5:26PM I really like the CHANGES. I put that in caps because, oh my god, is the old tauren cat form disgusting. I play Alliance side, but every time I see a tauren druid in cat form, my eyes bleed in sympathy. Poor, poor druids. In my opinion, any change is a good change.
Besides, that sloping forehead is very reminiscent of a cow, and that nose ring is pure love. I wonder if it jangles when they run. The top right is a serious war veteren, the top left is very much Jeremey Irons, the bottom right makes me think of the taunka tauren people (maybe that's thier cat form), and the pale mane for the darker skin on the bottom left is a very nice contrast. The only one I'm not sold on is the upper middle, but all I have to do is look directly below it and I'm suddenly grateful as hell.
It'd be nice if they have a few more of the N. American styled markings across thier shoulders or something, maybe feathers in thier manes or something...I don't think the this aspect of the tauren culture gets enough emphasis. =) But really, Blizzard, THANK YOU. I'm not even a druid, but THANK YOU.
Apr 28th 2009 5:28PM Actually, I was playin' with Wowmodelviewer and saw something very interesting.
The horse and the wolf mounts but have "unique" skins. They look suspicious. I haven't yet seen them implemented in game, so I'm thinking that maybe they may bet the new mounts.
The horse was decked out with this spiffy new blue rimmed steel-plated armor, from the crest of his neck all the way down to his hocks. Very very VERY gorgeous.
The wolf was much more rugged, with horde symbols painted in while on his haunches. The armor was like, this beat wooden stuff with fur tufts. In short, it looked very horde-y. I'll take screenshots when I get home and link them here so everyone can eyeball them up.
I hope these are new. AT least I don't think I've seen them in-game. T^T Don't be harsh if they have been used.
