Feb 10th 2011 3:35AM Man I have wanted EveryAir for months now. This would be so awesome to win!!!
Dec 22nd 2010 3:54PM I would love to have this mouse. I've been to every WoW insider meet-up before Blizzcon and never won a thing.
Feb 1st 2010 1:29AM Chase -
1) You are amazing.
2) You're informational and professional.
3) You're giving us what we love from WoW.com and what we were missing from TLAHTSI
4) Please tell me us you will be our permanent Paladin article writer, please.
5) Amazing article.
After all that praise, don't let us down with garbage posts from here out though. No 4 part low level tanking articles... No loot post articles saying "Oh this has MP5 and Spellpower..." We know what the items have on them if we hover the links thank you very much.
On top of everything else, your responses to the comments are some of the best additions to any article. The lack of responses from the author is a real downfall, but you came through clutch for us on this one.
Boal - Holy Paladin US Frostwolf
Jan 9th 2010 10:23PM And before anyone comments saying "OMFG READ THE OTHER POSTS" I do. And the last one we had that was remotely close to anything the majority of readers want was
That was patch 3.2 if you didn't notice. That was in June. I don't know if Zach is gone or what, but he was informative AND full of opinion, which is what we all want. "I like Decursive for my remove debuff addon" is the most opinionated thing said in this article. If I wanted News I'd go to MMOChamp, if I want opinion I come to WoW.com. I don't want that to change, but you give neither in these articles.
Jan 9th 2010 10:15PM Please, please, please move these articles to WoW Rookie. How about an opinion piece on upcoming paladin changes in the next patch? Or a piece about the effects of the T10 set bonuses on healing/dps/tanks? Or maybe even a piece about the future of the paladin with the consolidation of stats in Cataclysm?
Just no more rookie/noob/twink articles please. The Light and How To Swing It is not the place for rookie/noob/twink tanking, especially not a FOUR PART SERIES on it.
Dec 20th 2009 5:34AM I'm probably going to get voted down for this, but I'm extremely disappointed in the way "The Light and How to Swing It" has divulged into appealing to extreme noobs and mucilaginous troglodytes. I mean honestly, these articles should be under the WoW Rookie pages and by no means extended into three separate articles with multiple parts!!!
I have never trolled a comment section or forum for that matter and I don't plan on starting now, but I can't stand by and let my favorite part of WoW.com go down the tubes. Please stop treating the readers like we are all brand new to the game and we are mentally incapable of learning the game without you telling us "Your key tanking cooldown is going to be Divine Protection." Are you serious???
We have all played this game and that is why we are reading WoW.com. We all have paladins or are interested in the class enough to know the core abilities (i.e. Divine Protection). If we didn't know these things we would be reading WoW Rookie or nothing at all because we would be too new to care.
Stop treating us like we're idiots or new. We're not. Don't hijack our article. It may be your website, but it is the readers who truly pay your salary.
Downgrade me if you must, but at least read what I have to say.
Aug 17th 2009 6:08AM I am truly sorry for your loss, but I am even more sorry for the trolls who have posted on this article with heartless (not to mention brainless) comments. It is a sad reality of the internet that people are emboldened while hiding behind a computer. I highly doubt any of the 5+ trolls who have posted would say anything remotely close to their comments if this were a face to face discussion. And if they did, I know you would "layeth the smacketh down on their candy-asses." It is truly brave and honorable that you would post such a personal and heartfelt article on here knowing that you would receive trolls like those showing their ugly heads here. Thank you for your boldness, and she will never truly be gone as long as you keep her memory alive. I know you probably don't read every comment on here David, but if you do, look at how many people honestly care for you and your mother even though we have never met you or her. There is a lot of love out there to receive for someone who has this much love to share with all of us.
Jul 31st 2009 2:09PM Best article I have ever read on wow.com in my over 2 years reading this site.
Jul 23rd 2009 4:23PM And this is my first *First* post ever in my whole life on public comments/forums.
I'm strangely excited.
Jul 23rd 2009 4:22PM Just converted to battlenet and mine works now.
