Feb 7th 2011 1:13PM I hadn't even HEARD of Rift before the past few Queues.
Feb 5th 2011 12:42PM Arguably a bit of a daft question but the wording of the Enhancement Shaman talent Unleashed Rage is confusing me. The exact wording of the talent (via Wowpedia) is "Increases your expertise by X, and increases all party and raid members' attack power by Y% while within 100 yards of the Shaman." Does that attack power increase apply to the shaman himself while outside a party or raid, or is a lonely shammy only getting the expertise?
Jan 14th 2011 12:36PM Post world-blowup, this has a rather nostalgic resonance.
Dec 18th 2010 4:38AM There's a lot of rares. Some epic gear, a couple of minipets, another mount and a whole bunch of oddball doodads that range from a second hearthstone that summons a ghost in Ironforge to an item that when used displays a bunch of dwarves dancing. And so forth.
Dec 12th 2010 12:28PM Any idea which old world dungeon is the best for getting reputation if you solo-storm through it wearing one of the new main faction race tabards? Which one's got the most mobs and bosses?
Dec 10th 2010 5:55AM I know, isn't it awesome? :D
Dec 10th 2010 5:50AM Man. Had I known beforehand that Vashj'ir was an Old God frolic playground, I would've gone there first instead of Hyjal. Love the Old God stuff.
Dec 6th 2010 8:43AM The zombie invasion was a bigger event, but a cool idea turned into a nightmare in practice and despite feeling like a big thing the association is entirely negative. Forced PVP and accepted griefing is never a good thing.
Elemental invasion was probably a bit too careful after the zombie issues, but I loved the buildup and participating in the capital elemental attacks was suitably epic. Loved the little touches too like the earthquakes. Shame about the lack of any memorabilia though: all the items were distributed in dungeons and even those were just standard gear loot rather than any intriguing fun stuff. But I suppose the achievement system and Tripping the Rifts sort of took care of that.
Dec 4th 2010 3:41PM "It still doesn't require a casting time, though: it's an instant."
I know; when I said it was an instant cast instead of requiring a casting time I was contrasting it (unclearly) to most healing spells players have in their arsenal.
