Mar 19th 2010 1:30PM I have to agree that I was upset with the term you used Robin. Worse though, was how you said he needed a sense of humor. You could have said something akin to being sorry that something may have offended him and that was not your intention so you apologize, but instead you basically said it was his fault for being offended and he shouldn't be so thin skinned and should get the joke.
This is a kind of thinking that is creating depression and angsty thoughts in people because we say that a person should stop complaining and get over verbal insults and taunting when that can hurt more than something physical. I was suspended from school for a week for accidentally breaking a bully's leg when I pushed him back and he fell down 3 steps. I apologized, and said that he had been taunting me and insulting me and bullying me all year long, but they said that that was only verbal and that its not as mean of him to insult me as it is of me to "attack" him and break his leg, but that if I still felt upset, they would make him apologize and separate our schedules.
Bottom line, people always make light of verbal insults and non-physical bullying, and when they are called out on it they accuse the other person of being too sensitive or that it was only a joke so they shouldn't be offended, when the taunter is the one who is at fault.
Aug 5th 2009 4:56AM What kinds of a waste of life do you have to be to harass people trying to help children? I wonder why they even did it. I'm on a debate team so I am good at placing myself in the other sides shoes, but I can't think of a single reason to harass them, other than the basic "wanting to exert power over somebody".
Is there a thread on the forums started about their WOWathon, and/or one that has any of the harassers in it talking about their actions?
Aug 2nd 2009 3:47PM Calling people morons who don't use all the addons you think they should use, and who still play well without addons, makes you worse than a Warlock in my eyes Christian.
Even if people don't use addons like me, as long as they play their class well, thats all I care about, and I don't judge them for they play style.
Jul 25th 2009 2:05AM I was wondering the same thing, that show is amazing, I've met lots of people from all walks of life like devout mormons, a single mother of 4, senior citizens, and bikers who all love this show. My question is, if you don't like an amazing show like this one, what shows do you actually like?
Jul 24th 2009 2:30AM Go Felwood at 50, you're a Warlock, you enslave demons, and Felwood is full of demons! You can show all those cultist warlocks how a real lock rolls. Plus you can get the quest for the Infernal, which, while useless except for harassing low enemy towns, is still an iconic Warlock spell. Not to mention you get to meet the great imp and gnome who give you the quests.
Jul 14th 2009 1:29AM When WoW first came out, Ragnaros was one of the most powerful people we could face, then he got outclassed. In BC, Illidan was the worst, until Quel'danas was discovered and Kil'jaeden pushed him aside. Wrath came out with Sartharion 3D swinging, until Alagon showed him up. However, we knew about all these more powerful enemies in WoW Lore from the start. So who do you think will be bigger and badder than the Lich King, and who do you think will be harder than that?
Jul 12th 2009 9:54PM Yeah, but the achievements they have to do while in Laguna to get any titles are a real bitch.
Apr 30th 2009 6:45PM I am on your side KC, although I probably would have sent in a ticket while I was using it. Blizzard did overreact hugely, I didn't even see them mention in your e-mail that any part of this was due to their mistake, or that they even made one at all. Its like they want all the blame to fall on you like you stole this item or hacked it. And the ban on everybody, that is so harsh when none of them even did anything or even knew about it at all. But Blizzard does stuff like this and then acts like they did nothing wrong and players are to blame. It reminds me of the whole "We will never remove the ability to tame the Spirit Guide's ghost wolf" then they did and removed any evidence of them saying they wouldn't. Jerks.
Apr 21st 2009 5:38PM Yeah they are. Look at Lassie, if it had been a cat, there would be lots of dead children and babies.
Dogs are around to make people feel happy and important, cats are around to humble you and be exploited for weird photos.
