Oct 11th 2011 3:30AM Okay, WoW Insider Gods, here's my question.
Before Cataclysm's Blizzcon announcement, MMO Champion (I think) seriously spoiled Blizzard's release of info about Cataclysm. Are there whispers now about the next expansion (Aside from that Mists of Panderia stuff) among those in the know, or has Blizzard actually managed to put up an impenetrable barrier to information this time?
Oct 10th 2011 7:29AM I finished this book the day before Cataclysm came out. It was okay. The stories were good for my understanding of the game, but the writing was nothing special. Glad to have read it though.
It WAS better that the Lich King book, which started out strong and the fell apart in the second half.
Oct 8th 2011 6:10PM I've been an Arms fan since Vanilla, but this expansion has left me considering respeccing.
Oct 7th 2011 8:50PM I remember doing this for my Troll on a PvP server before the Horde could buy the chicken feed. I had to log my Troll out by the farm, roll an alliance alt on my wife's account (You couldn't have both factions on a PvP server then!), do the quest so the egg appeared on the ground, then log over to my troll to loot it.
Was worth it for the people in Orgrimmar asking me where I got the chicken pet, though!
Oct 7th 2011 10:32AM Oh, and they're all humans. Nothing wrong with folks liking other races, but I'm a happy human. (Trolls on Horde side!)
Oct 7th 2011 10:28AM My first was a Warrior, Pemberton, back in Vanilla. I promptly got lost looking for the kobolds. I leveled him to 60 and then later to 70. BC broke me on being a tank. I made a Warlock and liked him.
Then I made my priest, Monongahela, who is my bestest bud. Still have to level my Warrior though because he's my alchemist!
Oct 4th 2011 8:11AM It's a huge issue. Everyone I've invited to the game peters out around level 30. A lot of "Can you play with me for a bit?"
Of course the bigger obstacle is that my friends are irked about having to pay to play the game.
Oct 3rd 2011 9:03AM A daily for every crafting profession. Maybe not even a daily - a weekly with one guaranteed skill-up point. But even a daily with a skill-up every day would take a year and a half to get to 525, so I don't see a problem.
Oct 3rd 2011 6:00AM Okay, my human priest freaked out at the prospect of following in his fathers footsteps as a priest and took on a deckhand's job on a ship - a ship that happened to see the Exodar crash and was one of the first on the scene. His experience with the Draenei ignited his passion and he trained with them, returning to Stormwind to his surprised father.
My question is how long do you think the training took? Is it unrealistic for him to have struck out immediately for Outland?
Oct 2nd 2011 4:50PM "Do they force the PVP'ers into PVE situations?"
