Breakfast Topic: The last week of Brewfest {WoW}

Sep 30th 2008 12:47PM 25 per day? 10 from Dark Iron attack, 15 from doing the Beer Shouting daily, I think you're missing the daily Ram Races. It doesn't show up as a daily, you have to talk through some "speech bubbles" to get it. If you're good, it'll get you another 30 tokens or more daily. If you've missed it up till now... ouch.

Warrior changes in Beta build 8962 {WoW}

Sep 18th 2008 7:15PM "In addition, Intervene now also reduces your target's total threat by 10%, which is a nice active threat reduction ability."

This is actually really, really terrible for Warrior offtanks. One of our lesser known abilities was to be able to take a blow for the MT at key moments, and let the healers get to us when they could, giving them a break. With the threat reducer, that's... really not much of an option anymore.
As well, and I don't know if many people have tested this in 10-mans, since I'm not in the beta, but in theory with Safeguard, and Intervene used constantly for every cooldown, the MT would be under a 30% damage reducer for almost 1/3 of any fight. Again, would have been neat to test that.

Ask a Beta Tester: Professions and Primals {WoW}

Sep 10th 2008 10:33PM In one of the previous articles here on WoWWiki, it was laid out that Amari War Bear mounts would not be available after 3.0. Understandable. It goes on how it would be too easy to get at lv 80. But then then it mentions drakes out of no where. I don't think it specified if it was the Nether Drake mounts, but I wanted to know if they, or any other faction-based mounts, were being removed after 3.0. Are drakes safe, or should I buy all the colours now to save for when my mount collecting spree takes off?

Breakfast Topic: Player race desires {WoW}

Sep 7th 2008 12:57PM I'm surprised that it hasn't popped up after all those lists of existing races, but I always thought it would be awsome and obvious for the next horde race to be:

The Nathrezim, as in Dreadlords.

It would make easy lore sense because they would originate from Varimathras's army, who answers to Sylvanas of the Forsaken. They would be visually tweaked to be the right size and customizable and everything, but it would be hard to make them look anything less then hardcore. And this should satisfy all the people wanting to play vampires, without actually being lame like vampires.
