BlizzCon 2010: Quests and lore panel highlights {WoW}

Oct 26th 2010 2:45PM I wouldn't say they're ruining the lore. From what I can see, it comes off more like Chris Metzen is just making his pet character more and more powerful. Typical Mary-Sue'ing from an author to one of their creations.

I do agree, though, that Malfurion would be a far more logical choice for "Earth Warder". He even has the blessing of Cenarius, a demi-god.

Breakfast Topic: When are we going to see the rest of the Chamber of Aspects? {WoW}

You're thinking of Nefarian, not Neltharion. Huge huge difference as far as lore is concerned.

Jun 20th 2009 8:45AM I honestly don't think it's going to be used at all. We all know that 3.3 is going to be the Icecrown raid, and unless something unforseen happens that will most likely be the last patch before the next expansion. Blizzard has never been too keen on sending players back into the older worlds to complete content from the current expansion, I don't see that changing.

Top five toughest and easiest raid bosses {WoW}

Feb 19th 2009 11:37PM This is interesting considering that Gothik was considered one of the hardest fights in all of Vanilla WoW. At the time, I think he was 2nd or 3rd to the original Four Horsemen and Kel'Thuzad.

Addon Spotlight: TwoBox Toolkit {WoW}

Sep 8th 2008 1:35PM I'm getting so tired of hearing these arguments over and over again. Multi-boxing does not, nor will it ever, destroy the game or ruin other people's experiences. You're just as likely to get killed and corpse camped on a PVP server by a normal (1 account) player than the "army of zombies" owned by a multi-boxer.

In fact, I'd venture to guess that you're more likely to get ruled by a "normal" player because they're the ones who are bored with nothing better to do. Somebody who's leveling 2-5 toons at once isn't going to waste precious time corpse camping you. At worst, multi-boxing serves as a visual reminder not to gank somebody....kind of like a bodyguard.

The other excuse I hear all the time is that this RAF program insults veteran players and degrades what they accomplished by leveling "the hard way". I'm a first week veteran player (with a store bought WoW CE to prove it) and I am SO incredibly thankful that this program exists. It has spurred me to level toons for the first time in four years. Why? Because that "hard way" leveling I went through the first time was so awful I never wanted to do it again. Veteran players shouldn't be bitter about it, if anything they should rejoice. We leveled before RAF, Mudsprocket, and the 20-60 XP boost....consider this a consolation prize.
