Jan 19th 2009 4:14PM I'd actually say as a mage I'm really looking forward to duel-spec. Given that I am frosty, scrapping out every bit of DPS for a primary frostbolt based spec, is important to remain viable in a raid group.
Sadly, the necessities in talenting and glyphs to become a frost raider remove the powers of the frost tree for soloing/grinding/farming unavailable (for example dropping the slow on the Glyph of Frostbolt, removing Improved Blizzard and getting rid of the Shatter/Frost Nova on Improved Ice Barrier). Also, if I did wanna PvP I'd of course want all these talents too.
I can now solo with ease, PvP if I ever desire and be a good raider (without horrible DPS numbers) and save some gold. Win-win here too.

Dec 10th 2008 3:39PM Just installed this the other day. Ratingbuster so far is the best addon I've found to help you make informed decisions for gear upgrades.
Dec 10th 2008 2:33PM This might make Arcane the most viable raid spec. Take the mobility and throw in the new:
- Increase to Mana regen with Evocation cooldown talented,
- Improvement to overall DPS
- 6% hit (if Precision and Arcane Focus stack), 7% if you're Draenie
More space to stack Spell Power bonus after Hit Cap is always welcome.

I know this adds nothing to the conversation but sariusly that last post was worth the 40 seconds to read... LMAO...
And on topic...
WoW feels, more often than not 10% skill 90% time suck. Grinding for gear, buff materials, reputation (for gear), running raids (for gear) or whaterver. It takes a lot of time to make a good toon that has the stats to raid (or at least my TBC raiding experience, I'm still trying to find enough time to reach lvl 80, go figure). Time is really the key factor that makes the difference between a good or bad character (note I didn't say "player").
Nov 29th 2008 11:29AM With the Glyph of Slow Fall and the lack of flying mount until level 77 I have been using Slow Fall like a ghetto flyer. Northend has lots of high places to fall from and get to.

Hey if Mr. T can make a Mohawk class I'm sure you can hack an arcane priest. I pitty the foo who can't do this!
