Mar 30th 2012 3:20PM You don't need to stay for the raid, you just need to pickpocket Hagara. I have personally escorted over 30 rogues from my server through the process, ensuring that every rogue has Fear/Vengeance. If you can't find a guild that will give you 5 minutes to pickpocket Hagara, then start offering gold. Every rogue, at every skill level, can get into a normal DS just for the pickpocket -- you just have to try.
Mar 28th 2012 5:47PM No no, I definitely meant to make some implications. I will be talking more about this in coming weeks, including an interview piece scheduled for next week.
Mar 28th 2012 5:44PM 1) Yep, ignore Rupture pretty much everywhere.
2) Instant on your MH, Deadly on your OH, at least in raids.
3) FEINT FEINT FEINT. That is your core raiding utility ability. Add in some Tricks of the Trade to another good DPS raider and you're golden.
Mar 28th 2012 5:43PM Wound/Wound is preferred for dungeons/soloing, because you need a poison that leaves a debuff for Savage Combat to work.
Mar 28th 2012 4:53PM I took out a section about Rupture. Basically: don't use it. In all but the most ideal situations, it's either a DPS loss or DPS neutral. I don't recommend that any combat rogues use Rupture at this point.
Mar 25th 2012 4:32PM You can only soak 1 every 30 seconds, with Divine Protection up and no debuffs.
Mar 21st 2012 2:16PM Blade Twisting is great for leveling and 5-mans, allows you to tunnel-vision mobs without having to chase them down.
As for the FoK choice, it's not awful if you have a big pull in a 5-man. New players shouldn't be using Recup, otherwise they just spam it when they're low on life instead of relying on their healers.
Mar 21st 2012 1:55PM True, the SnD/Evisc rotation beats Rupture, but you also need to incorporate your CDs and RvS first. :)
Mar 21st 2012 1:55PM 1) Nothing better to spend the point on.
2) They'll be using RS after next week's article, so why make 'em respec? :)
