Jan 19th 2012 11:06PM So what are the 200,000 or so of us meant to do as we progressively ease our way through H DS? Due to lack of anything exciting within the raid or any major hurdles it is getting old... fast. There really aint much else to do in patch 4.3...
I play mdps/healer in a fun 10man guild that was 4/7 H-FL and now 1/8 H-DS. We raid 2-3 nights a week.
On the first week we rolled into DS we weren't expecting too much, maybe Morchok and 1 or 2 other bosses. Atleast 5 of us did not have a clue on any boss abilities or strats and one of us was drunk. We finished the 1st week of DS raiding 6/8 with 3 of these bosses being 1 shotted (on the 1st night). We had Madness conquered on the 3rd or 4th week of raiding... it seems like so long ago.
As a comparison what were the stats on the T11 bosses compared to the start of FL?

Putting DS on par with FL difficulty does not seem to be overly accurate. FL boss mechanics did have some element of RNG that required a certain amount of coordination whereas DS boss fights appear to be entirely scripted where players only really need to know what to pew pew on and heal.
IMO, the progressive nerfs are coming way too early let people learn how to play the raid instead of making it easy to a get an achievement.

Only real benefit I can see from this is the cost of epic gems on the AH will start to drop... progressively.

Sep 12th 2011 10:04PM My guild has been wiping on 10-Man Rag for about 7 weeks now... We breeze through the other bosses in 1 nite (3hrs) and then focus on him for another couple of nites before reset. We deal with crappy RNG, lag, player absentees and the odd mistake... now that we fully understand the mechanics and movement. After nearly 2 months of wiping I (and my guildies) welcome any nerf to the Rag fight as this got very very stale about 2 weeks ago.

That being said there should be some type of reward for the pre-nerf kills like a title or something to acknowledge the cream of the crop (... and the lucky).

@ the emo's that farm old content waiting for major nerfs due to lack of skill and effort... There is no true victory without struggle.

Sep 12th 2008 3:55AM Question on point "Fel Armor's mana regeneration was removed and replaced with a health regeneration rate of 2% per 5 seconds."... Aint this gonna add to agro? Destro locks already blow tanks agro with multiple crits and being able to hp regen during battle will only add to this... Or am I just being a n00b?
