Aug 17th 2010 1:24PM Dancing Rune Weapon in Cataclysm is a tanking cooldown. It increases the tank's parry by 20% in addition to doing the same attacks as the death knight for 12 seconds, but at 50% damage.

Don't compare WotLK version of spells to Cataclysm environments.

Aug 6th 2010 4:17PM An appropriate fix would be for the offending person to be ported into an enemy faction city. The offender would be, of course, flagged, and possess a two hour debuff. This would be calculated in played time, so no logging to out-wait the debuff. Finally, the offender's hearth stone should be removed from their bag.

PvE version of the deserter debuff, but with teeth.

Jul 8th 2010 7:44PM One of the design goals though is to permit players to have meaningful choices in their trees. If the tree defining talent is a given, that may very mean that there is more variety in a tree from which to select. Instead of most players have cookie-cutter specs, I would bet that a player's tree selection gives all of the cookie-cutter stuff automatically leaving a pretty deep toolbox of toys from which to select.

From Zarhym's post: (As a result, we can keep the unique talents in each tree, particularly those which provide new spells, abilities or mechanics. We'll still have room for extra flavorful talents and room for player customization, but we can trim a great deal of fat from each tree. The idea isn't to give players fewer choices, but to make those choices feel more meaningful. Your rotations won't change and you won't lose any cool talents. What will change are all of the filler talents you had to pick up to get to the next fun talent, as well as most talents that required 5 of your hard-earned points. )

Jul 7th 2010 2:33PM hmm reminds me of leveling in vanilla - but without dual specs. I think I paid for a respec every 5 levels or so.

And now that I think about it, this very reason may have been why I never had any gold back then.
