Jan 21st 2011 3:47PM I'm pretty sure that both Alleria and Turalyon were last seen heading elsewhere, to one of the other worlds out there.
Jan 21st 2011 3:45PM There are also other considerations. Defectors do exist in game, but they're fairly rare - it might make sense for one or two to exist, but throw it open to the playerbase and there'll be loads of 'em. Moreover, it's even less likely that they'd be able or want to defect straight from Alliance to Horde or vice versa - most in game dissenters join one of the neutral factions, like the Forsaken apothecary in Eastern Plaguelands.
Jan 9th 2011 12:17PM Well, people complained that the Lich King appearing constantly throughout the Wrath levelling experience, and letting you live, made him seem lazy and ineffective. I'd guess that Deathwing only popping up to toast some folk now and again is Blizzard's attempt to correct this... just as the Lich King appearing so often was a response to the criticism that the endbosses of Burning Crusade were basically invisible throughout it.
Jan 6th 2011 12:33PM Another thing I'd point out is that even in that quest, it's significantly more involved to resurrect Farseer Grimwalker than it is to bring yourself back. He needs someone to collect his remains.
Apr 5th 2010 3:39PM Why would they remember the creation of the Naga from the Highborne when it happened underwater with noone there to see it?
Sep 9th 2009 8:05PM Well, Undermine's blown up, so it may or may not appear.
Sep 4th 2009 8:57PM If Garrosh DOES Warchief, he seriously needs a bit of character development. I mean, it would suck if the new Warchief was an over-aggressive dimwit, but Garrosh is far more than this - he's a cowardly blustering moron. Varian Wrynn may be a bit of a warmonger, but this Hordie accepts that he has a fair bit of bad history explaining why, and he also seems to be a reasonably competent leader.
By contrast, Garrosh has no history with the Alliance at all, and is utterly incompetent to boot.
And wouldn't we all like to.
Sep 4th 2009 8:53PM According to the latest comic previews, the Council has realised that a) Guardians are certainly still needed, and b) They should expand the Council to have more forms of magic than just arcane, in light of their recent difficulties with Malygos. Jaina immediately suggests Thrall.
This, plus the (SPOILERSPOILERS) from the Goblin starting area, may be a good reason for Thrall to formally give up his Warchieftainship, and try to heal Azeroth as a neutral party.
But I still can't see Garrosh as a potential Warchief.
Aug 31st 2009 2:12PM If this website actually posted the maps, you'd expect a bunch of morons screaming about how they'd 'stolen' it from the other site.
Aug 28th 2009 12:37PM Well, it certainly won't be for a while yet - maybe Garrosh will grow up a little and show that he's got potential in what's left of Wrath?
