Dec 7th 2011 7:05PM @SnarlingWolf Yeah, why would anyone want to talk about an MMO on an MMO-news web site? Preposterous!
Dec 7th 2011 4:46PM Anarchy Online was the first MMO I ever played, so it holds a nostalgic place in my gaming history.
Nov 28th 2011 1:01PM @Matix To be fair, while the NGE was a fiasco, the game did need some kind of enhancement. SWG at launch was awful, it was barely a game at all. They had to do something.
Nov 21st 2011 6:24PM WoW has been saturated with annoying crybabies since the day it was announced in 2001. Same as it ever was.
Nov 16th 2011 11:22AM I am definitely not a Blizzard Basher™, I played WoW for years and had a great time.
But archeology is horrible. It is easily the biggest dud they ever put into the game. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if a game designer lost their job because of how bad it is. Archeology is the perfect evidence for people who argue that MMORPG makers sometimes forget what the "G" stands for in that acronym.
Nov 14th 2011 12:30PM Absolutely agree. You shouldn't even let X/Z back into the guild at all, let alone consider making him an officer.
I'm willing to bet a shiny new quarter that the reason he even came back to your server is that he was a ass-weasel to the guild that he transferred to and got kicked out.
Calmly and politely tell him thanks, but no thanks, the guild is going in a different direction now, and good luck to him. Then /gkick.
Nov 11th 2011 6:25PM Something that needs to go away forever: the adding of "-adin" to anything and everything associated with the paladin class. I can't think of anything more annoyadin.
Nov 8th 2011 5:19PM "And despite what you may have heard from Mr. Feeney's grocer, Cory and Topanga are not adopting a 14-year-old Chinese boy."
[That's the sound of this reference sailing about a mile above my head.]
Oct 26th 2011 11:20AM Perhaps I missed it in the flood of coverage, but ...
What classes (other than monk) can pandas be?
Sep 26th 2011 3:35PM One of the things the letter writer doesn't mention is geography. Does he and NotGirlfriend even live in the same state, or country?
I used to play with someone who I greatly enjoyed spending time with, and we were both single, and she hinted that she might be interested in more. But ultimately I had to tell her, "Look, I live in California and you live in Arkansas, so this just isn't going to happen." I said it nicer than that, but that was essentially the point.
