Many servers not yet up after all {WoW}

Oct 15th 2008 5:27AM It makes me happy knowing other people haven't been able to enjoy patch 3.0.2, after a couple of hours downloading and installing the patch i log on with tears in my eyes at the new screen (though i'd seen it on wowinsider already it was still epic).

I log in and behold! Account out of game time...GG, it's 8:30PM here so no WoW for me till tomorrow morning, fuck lectures i'm lining up outside of EB games for my goddam gamecard.

Oct 14th 2008 9:30PM She clearly stated she was going to discuss only the resto tree in her post and that balance would be dealt with later today in a shifting perspectives post. This was at the start of the post so no tl;dr excuse you are just a hater.

I loved the article as im a raiding resto druid its great to see all the things we are gonna be able to do, plus being capped and downloading the patch means im not gonna be playing a while so reading about it makes up for it, right? right? :'(

Blood Sport: Everything Savage, Hateful, and Deadly {WoW}

Oct 7th 2008 4:46AM I do enjoy competitive aspect of arena and we all know about balance issues between classes so i would rather like to talk about gear.

I think the tiered system is flawed that it prevents newer players to get up in the higher ratings after people start sporting their hateful gear. It's like at the end of the NFL season the winning team gets to use steroids for the next season, while the second placed team can only have their defensive team on steroids and everyone else play as normal.

I think the arena system should reward better players with somewhat better gear but not to an extent where you really can't compete against well established teams no matter how well you play due to gear disparity.

I think the arena system should tend towards giving the better teams visual representatives of their abilities, thus satisfying the e-peen side of gaming without creating a elite group at the top that won't be budged just because they started grinding 2 months before everyone else.

TL;DR version:
Gear gives too much of a leg up to people who are already good creating a group which slightly newer but ably skilled players cannot break into.
