Sep 26th 2008 3:24PM **sniff sniff** Do you smell that? I smell someone who got burned about last weeks comments on how crappy the horde earrings were...and the scarf...and endless horde weeding cakes (barf). Some of us do get tired of seeing the same ol' crappy gifts being made in honor of the Horde. Seriously, who cares you may ask? I don't care, but I will say this...I just LOVE how she retaliated by making a QQ box for the alliance (note the sarcasm).
Wow, I guess at the end of the day after you finish reading everyone's comments- they do affect you more than you like to admit. Or you wouldn't have bothered with this post. It's not cute, it's not funny. It just feeds more fuel to the fire for little kids. I'll agree with the other posts that this was just mean-spirited. But it just goes to show, how well you can't take criticism. Thanks for proving my point. For your next project, you should make a horde colored noose- do us all a favor and spare us from your "gift ideas".
Sep 20th 2008 6:40PM Rofl. I actually did get some sun today, got a sexy tan and came home and saw all these beautiful emailed responses. Nice to know that my comments can actually have an affect on you Sphingx, and people who probably think like you. Again, I think it a totally worthless waste of time to even bother, and I was actually responding to the post that stated it would be a "status symbol". Seriously? That's not taking it into perspective. And Sphinx it's probably best if you not respond to this, because that'll just make me even more certain that you're part of the 99% of WoW players that a). doesn't get laid- at all, and b). you too measure your worth in a virtual game and got hurt by my comments...Aww.
Blizz should give me the option of getting something unique that doesn't require the involvement of "other" people...the OPTION. If you want to go into a dungeon for "phat loot" hooray for you, if you feel like getting phat loot alone then hooray for you too. See my point? I wish we had a choice. FYI Force Unleashed is definitely worth grabbing if you've gotten sick of WoW's constant grind.
Sep 20th 2008 1:14PM Status symbols in WoW = nothing, unless you're 10.
Sep 20th 2008 12:59PM Yes I'm going to QQ about this...Last year, it was super easy to get the brewfest mount and you didn't have to count or compete with 4 other nerdy losers for it. Would it have been so wrong for it to be the same way again? Thanks Blizz for reminding me why I cut back on playing this game and made me the antisocial a-hole I am today. And yea, I do have that mentality that I can be entitled to everything in the game if I put my money down for it like everyone else. And for those of you who tried to run the instance 20 times for the mount and still haven't gotten it, go out and get some sun and put your life into perspective please.
Sep 18th 2008 5:59PM Agreed. And I would love to see more love for the Alliance.
Sep 18th 2008 5:54PM Hideous. My 5 year old wouldn't even wear those.
Sep 18th 2008 5:46PM Ha, that's what you should be asking the blogger...
Sep 18th 2008 4:47PM 75 mounts?? This achievement is so far fetched and unrealistic. What about for those of us that are casual players and not die-hard raiders? And where in the world would you keep all these mounts anyway?
I can see it now, more and more people dropping dead from playing 30 hours straight just to get an achievement done (and you know this happens, espeically in the Orient). What a great way to promote healthy videogame playing...more grinding and more grinding.
The more I learn about these achievements in Wrath, I feel that the casual player has no chance at even enjoying the full-range of "goodies" the game will offer. Whatever. Nerds everywhere may rejoice...but you got your work cut out for you. And don't forget to go outside and breath in fresh air once in awhile.
I, for one, am not going to revolve my life around these silly achievements.
Sep 18th 2008 3:50PM Um, ok, so why is it that everytime I look at the WoW-inspired craft section, it's mostly Horde related? Last time, it was a Horde scarf, oooh wow. What about for those of us who actually are die-hard alliance members and are interested in seeing some alliance gift ideas? These threads seem so biased sometimes. It's like seeing the endless number of Horde cakes versus the limited ones made with the alliance symbol. I know, I know, maybe- just maybe it takes a little more skill, work, artistic vision to create alliance related gifts and cute stuff. Something that is apparently lacking here. The horde symbol can be done by a pre-schooler and it's called artistic. I would really like to see more of an equal amount of love for both factions.
