Aug 11th 2010 4:43PM Looks like Belt can't hack the super-complex warlock playstyle....apparently all those nights of the 2 button arcane "rotation" can't compare in sheer difficulty.....
Jul 17th 2010 8:19PM another viable option is Elitist Group--it has much of the same functionality of WoW-Heroes but in game. checks enchants, gems, spec, and appropriateness of gear. Oneof my favorite tools for pug-building!
May 31st 2010 10:37PM yeah, if you pull off me you ARE tanking it. That's not obnoxious that's called letting you learn your place. Bad DPS that can't watch their aggro are the reason most tanks hate randoms. Bad author is bad.
Apr 23rd 2010 5:34PM possibly the ugliest UI I have ever seen---wtf is wrong with whoever put that monstrosity together? For real now...take some of your own advice maybe re: sectioning things off etc....
Apr 15th 2010 7:24PM I agree, Deus Vox is much better than DBM or BigWigs--took a little setting up to suit me but I love it now!
Feb 22nd 2010 4:43PM love the deep Demo.....just love it.... popping meta and trinkets, charge and immolate aura, (SoulShatter cause you just ripped off the tank) dot em up, and start throwing out the heavy nukes, all while your pet is buffing the raid dps...just so much fun! I love the fact that I'm watching for Molten Core procs to switch out my SBs for Incinerates, and of course the beauty of Decimation at execute.......it just feels right to me.
Feb 20th 2010 10:27AM no one likes Big Bang Theory? Sheldon Cooper is my idol........
Jan 23rd 2010 12:39PM I'm levelling up a prot pally, level 44 now I think, using only the dungeon finder, and at lower levels a lot of the players don't really understand how an instance works. If you try to help them by explaining things, some are decent and will listen, others...not so much.
I try to explain at the beginning that as the tank I will be pulling the mobs, and "if you pull it you tank it". I explain that I need to make sure I'm ready and that the healer has mana. I also explain that after 2 or 3 pulls by dps I will drop group and they will have a very long wait for the next tank.
You would think with all that said, there wouldn't be any need for flaming. Believe me, I've been called every name in the book, been told I was a "fail tank" (even though I never lose aggro on anything I pull (if you pull it, I let it kill you)). I top the dps, I top the damage done, if I have a good healer I "pull big", all the stuff that should keep me flame-free. I've had my sexual orientation questioned, been told to "take the short bus home, retard"...ahh well you get the picture.
My guildie, a healer, has the flame to beat all flames, though--she entered an instance in progress, the lock needs mana so he lifetaps himself to near death, then yells "HEAL ME FAGGOT!!!"....needless to say she dropped group. It is horribly offensive but we still got a pretty good chuckle at his stupidity.
Dec 12th 2009 4:06PM if you're seriously geared and want to run lower level heroics (UK, Nexus, stuff like that) equip some lower item level gear before queuing; the tracker thinks you're lesser geared and you seem to get spots sooner.
We've tried this a good 100 times or so now and it seems to work well. If you don't have any lower level gear, just take some off and it works also. If I use my "real gear" (Gearscore is around 5100) I wait a good ten minutes for any of the low level heroics--if I drop it down to 4k I'm in almost instantly.
