Jan 8th 2011 3:45PM Pffft, I *love* the pop-culture references and humore that Blizzard puts into their game, I think it's part of what makes them stand out amongst all the other MMO's. Blizzard is a bunch of nerdy geeks sharing nerdy geeky jokes with the rest of us nerds and we're all having a good laugh!
Uldum's become my new favorite zone thanks to the crazy fun of the questline going through it with Harrison Jones and the Titans and everything.
Oct 9th 2010 12:35PM This was good news indeed! Though I'm from a relatively small casual/social-raiding guild, we have a bit over 100 accounts, though only 10 people are on at any given time, 20 on a good day, we are regularly courting or over the 500 character cap. We've already gone through a lot of purging of old inactive characters, and we don't want to have to boot alts because the whole point of the guild is to be able to level with friends. We were really cringing at the potential drama this 600 hard cap would bring, as *everyone* is gonna be rolling new alts come Cataclysm, and we didn't want to suddenly have to put a block on peoples' characters where before we had never done that. We didn't want to have to be exclusionary. This cap-raise brings a lot of relief and gives us much more wriggle room. I am grateful that our vocal protesting was successful. Thank you, Blizz!
Oct 5th 2010 3:57AM The problem with this is say you have altoholic members who each have used their 10 slots. If all of those characters are in the guild, that limits it to 60 accounts. Of course the average player doesn't use all ten slots, but it's still extremely restricting in an expansion that is supposed to be the most guild-friendly and group-oriented yet.
How do you choose who to restrict from the benefits of guild perks? So many of the perks are alt-friendly with boosted xp and funds, yet we have to go and level multiple guilds because of a hard cap? Seems unfair to me.

"Chirose, delicate rose of the Mulgore planes."
Feb 15th 2010 3:21PM Bahaha, that was awesome! I love all the cameos of lore characters, and the humor throughout all of it. It definitely left me wanting more!
Feb 7th 2010 8:11PM If you have a friend to partner up with, a fantastic way to farm charms is to two-man the vehicles part of Ulduar. Take turns with one person in a tank and one gathering mobs on a bike. About 10 minutes of work netted 400 charms!
