Aug 3rd 2009 10:26AM Im one of these players that find whole bloodelf character and lore sewn from a bit too many missmatching pieces.
Firstly what would be the plus of horde allying with bloodelves, freshly mowed down by the scourge nation isolated for quite the long time and primarily alligned with alliance? Having a powerful source of magic they didnt fend off the undead ,and didnt even try very hard. Mind you having such a source as sunwell and having noone to make any use of it.
For horde they bring nothing, for blizzard they bring new marketing share of people who might find the "beauty" of looks over the dept of playing someone whose looks arent as perfect.
Perfect on the first glance tho -- playing undeadmyself ive gotten myself one of those MGT transformation orbs. And i noticed that bloodelf male surely loos good... when he's not moving.
The sole fact of blizzard wanting to make em look totaly unique just went as far as weird poses, weird hump when they are running ( always thinking about invisible backpack there ) or the chest armor alterations that the central line is somewhere near their right shoulder.
Combining lore and looks, if elves were truly maniacal and twisted driven by their vendetta and magic addiction -- why would you assume that giving they faces with smiles ( the ones that look very honest ) would support that line.
Marketing. 35% population share on almost every server speaks for itself.
Jun 24th 2009 7:50AM Indeed going thru the tons of pictures only to see alliance names. Also feeding us spoon by spoon instead of compiling em set by set took off 100 clicks of longevity off my mouse.
Playing rogue myself i actually was hoping i get to see myself in Vancleef's garments. Since who would be the better model than betrayed by alliance outcast who worked for their ruin. Hell ye. Garrona sadly is just a name that sprinkles now and then, nothing substantial tho.
Jan 14th 2009 2:41AM Early start on heroics is only taxing for the tank and healer since the availability to sustain a group at certain damage level can be tricky.
However if you are dps your damage dealing starts in your head and ends on your gear. Meaning getting the idea what to do, how to gear, what kind of dps rotations to use is the 1st thing you need to learn stepping into lvl80, just before you hit AH to spend 100-200 gold on gear that wont embarass you in front of others.
The whole PUG idea doesnt work for me with wotlk, i actually only go for it if i have alteast one person i can form the group, and he's solid enough despite his gear to push harder than the 800-1000 dps randoms, who want to get their epic gear handed over without any thought to it.
I would strongly suggest asking a friend, checking some site for advices how to perform above your gear. Even my mage sporting mgt heroic items can do 1300-1400 dps in UK normal without any fuss.
Sep 23rd 2008 3:40AM I have a question.
How will inscription and respeccing will be handled? I do believe after changing from combat to subtlety i will want my glyphs to change aswell to support the other build fully. Will the glyphs be like reusable gems or will they be rewritten by the ones ill put on em?
