Nov 9th 2009 10:32PM actually any sysadmin worth anything would never do an update/change etc during peak business time, unless there was a major problem in the first place.
want to know why? sysadmins hate users, and go to great lengths to never speak with them
programmers on the other hand are known for doing things in live
this crap here smells of bad management though

man i wish we knew your in game name cause no one would ever heal for you again...
oh and as 1 of 3 dps in a 5man, your 1/3 of the DPS, 1/4 if you count the tank.
we are all important, but dont belittle the healers who suffer to heal you through those 5mans, i leveled as ret, then went back to holy upon reaching 80, i dont really do any of the dailys unless they dont require killing things, i waste my gold on mats and water so you dont have to eat between fights
oh and i bet you stand at the front of the mob too...
Dec 9th 2008 10:26AM As a Holy Paladin @ 70 who walked around in shockadin pvp gear to grind dailys, i had to scramble to find decent ret gear to level to 80 with. Now I am 80 and spec'd back to Holy my dps is horrible, not much more than it was at 70. I think we lost a lot of healers to dps and tank roles.
While i cant wait for dual-specs to come, I forsee a very large problem with it. You will have a lot of people with a healing secondary spec and just not know how to handle it. Bad healers = wipes. Same thing for secondary tank specs. Just as a bunch of fresh DK's think they can tank doesnt mean they can. Out of the four DK tanks i have run regular instances with only one actually knew what LOS was and how to use their death grip (pull casters and pull mob off of healer) the other 3 were horrible and we tried to explain it but it was no use. DPS DK are not much better (i dont heal the "OT" in 5mans, you know who you are...)
Also the ease of overpowering/aoe'ing through regular 5mans may cause problems in heroics. A few of the groups I have run heroics with just tried to do the same thing and it lead to wipes.
But hey as far as I am concerned I dont have to wait around to find a group anymore.
Dec 8th 2008 3:37PM I think what Zach is getting at, and that most of you are missing, is that for the PVP'ers to get gear we would have to do PVE content at this point. Why should 25man raids have access to epic pvp gear? There should be a distinction between PVP and PVE gear and the requirements to get said gear.
If the situation was reversed for PVE gear all of you would be on the other side of the fence. If your tier 7 gear required you to do 10 games a week in arena you all would start complaining.
The different aspects of the game should have there own requirements and rewards.
