Jan 24th 2010 11:30AM Great post Christian - wish there was a way to sticky posts - this would be one. Anyone know if the cross server dps meter inaccuracies are by design? If so well done Blizzard - if not then please leave them broken Blizzard on heroics - LFD is without doubt one of the best additions to the game.
Dec 15th 2009 5:44AM Many thanks for bringing this up Adam. This is the number one thing that continually comes up in conversation with other wow playing moms. People showboating on the forums, in general and trade channels ingame need to be shown the ban hammer when they step out of line. I really hope Blizzard take the next step and start making people accountable for their comments by making everyone post on a main and stop allowing level 1 alts to troll. Want to post on a class forum then post on your class main. But for general posts make people use their main. Its sad that Blizzard has to be the ones to teach people social skills. Manners don't cost anything and I second all that Pocky said. As to the ones who roll out the old chestnut "its always been this way on the web" it no longer needs to be. If hosts like Blizzard, YouTube and MySpace (to name but 3) take a stand against toxic behavior we will seed new online social norms.
Jun 24th 2009 5:26PM Well if the item becomes soul bound on the first transfer then that problem goes away. Only allow one pass the parcel. Hopefully this is how it will be implemented.
Mar 31st 2009 2:09AM When Blizzard first started talking about dual specs I thought they had finally seen the light. One spec for PVE and one for PVP. All the pieces are in place. Use the Arena Tournament model for PVP with each class having immediate access to the best PVP gear available for their level. Spec, gem, enchant and glymph as required to match your preferred playstyles. Heirlooms have proven the ability of gear to scale with level so this model also works with Battle Grounds. Personalization is what people value most in rewards. Create titles, vanity pets and rare mounts to reward PVPers for their achievements. Bye bye twinks and let the most skillful players rise to the top competing with equal gear in Arena and BG while making both fun again. The PVE gear progression model works as is so should be left alone. GC come to the light and away from the darkside. There really is no need for the two headed monster that is class imbalance.
Jan 7th 2009 4:53AM Great guide and two comments to add to it. First enchanting is getting a major revamp in patch 3.0.8 so the quantity of mats required for highend enchants come down significantly. If your planning on getting cloak greater speed its worth holding off as mats drop from 24 + 12 to 16 + 4. Too late for me but will save someone else some gold. Second any chance of adding craftables to your list? Professions overlaid to this post would make it complete.
