Oct 14th 2008 4:49PM Why is it that the closer we get to this expansion, the worse I feel about it? All of this just feels so rushed and slapped together. I honestly wonder what's going on. Is Activision pushing this along? Was Blizzard worried about Warhammer taking people away from the game? I have no idea, but I do know one thing; I don't like where this is headed.

Don't get me wrong, I love Blizzard and I love WoW. However, I can't help but feel like things are getting messed up.

3. Wolf
4. Devilsaur
5. Cat/Spirit Beast

However, the more I think about Rhino, the more I can't helpe but think that they'd make an awesome PVP pet. My only question is, does the charge interupt casting? Anyone know?

Sep 26th 2008 9:31AM I had no heard about this and I must say I find it very disheartening. I, for one, do not enjoy arena as much as regular BG PVP. It still baffles me that the best BG gear available right now has an arena rating tacked onto it. Now you're telling me it's going to get worse? *sigh*

Why can't Blizzard make two different sets of gear? One for Arena and one for standard PVP? I think that would help to differentiate between the two some.

Honestly though, what this comes down to is that Blizzard needs to rethink how they reward BG Honor. The reason that BG gear is not as good as Arena gear is because people don't have to try very hard for BG gear. Some sort of system needs to be worked out that discourages afk and encourages actual effort. What if, perhaps, a minimum weekly HK quota was put in place in BGs and world PVP? After you met the quota, any kill after that netted you x honor. Also, incorporate more PVP dailies into the process that award honor as well. The current system as it stands flat out encourages AFKing for honor, and that's why BG gear isn't nearly as good as Arena gear. However, I think with my above idea they could actually change that around.

*shrug* I dunno, just bouncing out ideas.

Sep 25th 2008 1:49PM Yeah, I agree with pretty much every other hunter that posted in this. Frost Arrow is probably the most annoying thing they're trying to give us for the expansion. While some classes are getting amazing abilities at lvl80 (Mages with Mirror Image) we are getting a slow, highly visible, highly avoidable, ranged CC. We're essentially getting something we never asked for, except for in a joking manner. What's funny, is that the devs picked up on the humor of such a ludicrous idea and thought, "Hey...wait a second! We CAN do that!"

Ah, whatever though. I can't wait for the expansion and my Unholy Death Knight.

Sep 25th 2008 12:36AM Agreed with the above two guys. Really, how is this a Totem buff? Earth totems are the most used totem for any intelligent shaman, and now they're giving us ANOTHER Earth totem that will keep our other totems up longer. Honestly, with this buff to Stoneclaw, I still won't use it. I'd rather break a fear, or a snare, or buff myself. Seriously, what are the Shaman(and for that matter Hunter) Devs thinking these days?

Sep 24th 2008 9:30PM Ya know, the Stoneclaw thing is lame as hell though. Let's look at the totems an ehancement shaman is gonna need to be any good at PVP.

1. Stoneclaw to protect other totems.
2. Earthbind to slow targets and to remove snares.
3. Strength of Earth for damage and crit buff.
4. Earth Elemental for help with flag guarding etc.

Granted, #4 isn't a TRUE choice, but the rest of them will get used often. Why in the name of all that is holy are they forcing us to pick between 4 or 5 different earth totems to use? Stoneclaw buff is a bandaid at best, FIX TOTEMS!
