Mists of Pandaria: Female pandaren {WoW}

Mar 19th 2012 9:35AM Red Panda's have been previously categorized as both bears and racoons.

They pretty much nailed the Red Panda from what I can see.

The OverAchiever: 3 things that should be achievements but aren't {WoW}

Mar 16th 2012 4:20PM Ouch, harsh. That wasn't the point I was trying to make and kind of sad that all you got out of my post.

There are all kinds of server first, world first, realm first achievements for leveling classes and professions and such. I just thought it would be nice if there were a guild achievement for the same thing for each faction.

And most of us didn't "skip" work. Personally I used 40 hours of vacation when Cata came out. I'll take 16 hours for Diablo 3 and another 40 for mists as well. I've earned it. Many others would log on during their lunch hour and knock out a dungeon with a guild group and most would log on after work/school/homework whatever and do what we could. I'm sure some called in sick or "skipped" but that still isn't the point.

Yes, I think it deserves an achievement for the amount of total guild effort it took to win the race to 25. There were many guilds neck and neck during that time and it was quite fun and exciting.

Mar 16th 2012 3:41PM I was saddened by the fact that each faction didn't have a server first for reaching level 25. My guild was server first alliance. We had a lot of dedicated players who took time off of work/school and work hard to earn that achievement. We have a screenshot from guildox showing server first alliance but a guild achievement would be nice.

I like the idea of an account wide achievement showing that you have all max level professions.

They have an achievement for getting a haircut. How about one for transmogging a whole set of gear. "Fashion Conscious" or something like it.

I always thought an achievement for taking flight paths would be a good one. "Frequent Flyer" to he who rides/takes every available flight path to him.

An achievement (and title) based around the Ironman competition should exist. Leveling a toon from 1 to max level, with no deaths, never equiping an heirloom or green quality or higher item and not partaking in RaF, or ever grouping.

I'd like one for a certain number of times I've died because I've used an engineering item.

Running a dungeon or raid while completely smashed and not letting that "state of mind" diminish.

Longevity achievements or titles for number of uninterrupted years of account ownership.

Darkmoon achievements for completing each game daily using only 1 token. (i.e. hitting 25 targets or getting all 30 whack a gnolls in one shot w/o having to go back a second time)

A darkmoon achievement for completing ALL the games in using only 1 token.

An achievement for collecting every darkmoon pet and/or mount.

I'm sure I'll come up with some more. Think I'll go cross post this over to Blizzard General as well. You never know when a blue will see it or maybe one will spark some interest and actually makes it in.

3 things that need to change about WoW's auction house {WoW}

Mar 16th 2012 10:05AM Separate post for separate thoughts.

I'd love the buy orders options. As someone who not only plays the AH (minimally that is) but who loves flipping I would so use the buy orders option.

If I need 1000 embersilk cloth or Whiptail but am not willing to pay more than x per stack I could just throw up a buy order and it gets filled as people want to sell. I would so love that.

Mar 16th 2012 10:01AM The two big things I see (on my server anyway) are mounts and pets.

Have a Beverly Hills Mount and Pet vendor. Mounts would be upward of 100k and pets could be 20k or so. With multiple purchasing options that would be quite the gold sink. You could even do something like the darkmoon faire. Have the vendor show up once every few weeks with a different stock of items for sale. Something similar to the exotic pet vendor in Netherstorm.

With the advent of Transmog another option I could see would be truly unique complete armor sets costing 25k or so. Or weapons. I could see this as an option for a gold sink as well as blizzard store potential.

People with real world cash to spare have the blizzard store.

People with in game gold to spare have the Beverly Hills vendor.

I'd be more than willing to drop 100k on various unique awesome looking pets or $10 for an armor set.

Breakfast Topic: What class will you never play? {WoW}

Mar 7th 2012 8:50AM I can't seem to get a rogue or warlock past 20. By 20 I'm just petered out. I love the DK starting zone but have run that 4 or 5 times and deleted them. Haven't tried a druid or priest. I don't like healing at all.

I have 2 85 paladins and 2 85 warrior though :) Max level hunter and mage as well.

I hope I'll like Monks as I'd love to have a Brewmaster. Besides, I need a skinner/leatherworker to fill our my profession army.

Mar 2nd 2012 10:14AM @BiPolarBoomkin, This is a heaping stack of win covered in awesomesauce. I will so be using some variation of this on my toons now.

I can see a whole slew of Sunwalkers giving pause when hearing the battle cry "For Light and Glory" coming from their enemy. Asking themselves, don't we fight for the Light as well?

I'd love to see the "friendship" between Baine, Jaina and Anduin have some effect on the world... of Warcraft.

Heart of the Aspects video and giveaway {WoW}

Feb 15th 2012 10:12AM I would surely love to have one of these for my Pally.

Scattered Shots: Frostheim's interview with an imaginary Ghostcrawler {WoW}

Feb 2nd 2012 9:14AM
Wow, that's awesome! While we're on the topic, what about taming feral druids?

That's something we looked at, but in the end, the ability just felt too weak. Hunters are designed around having strong pets.
This had me rolling. This "response" is drenched in so much awesomesauce I need more bread.

Awesome, fun article. Thanks
